Aardvarks & Dragons

PLEASE READ THE OWNER'S RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW. IT SAYS EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM AS A BUSINESS. Do not recommend this place. I know they already have a reputation so I should have avoided them but I wanted to give them a chance. Both times they have proved why locals avoid them. Often disorganised and run by immature individuals who will send childish passive aggressive messages to people with genuine enquires. Also be aware that stock is often marked up over retail price, even for pre orders.

Just popped in as visiting the area. Wow, what a store, excellent atmosphere with an idyllic view and a pub and pizza shack next door. The owner was friendly and chatty and not averse to a turn 16 foul. Top man, top shop with plenty of stock, scenery and tables. Lucky to have such a magnificent blood bowl arena in town. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Aardvarks and Dragons is an excellent place to get your gaming supplies, make new friends and play games! Scott keeps the shop clean, tidy and accessible. He's considerate of the needs of everyone in the shop, as someone with ADHD who struggles with noise Scott keeps me aware of what's coming up! Scott has taken the time to get to know the games systems he supplies such as star wars legion, Warhammer 40k, age of sigmar as well as a broad collection of card based games such as magic the gathering. To book a table is easy just message the shop or call up, they are well priced and there's a range of great terrain as well as good consideration for the smaller details, good seating, power near the tables for tablets and phones as well as space for dice and cup holders. Touches like this tell you this is a shop run by someone who cares about the gaming experience. The shop is well placed in Woodbridge with decent parking only a few minutes away. Scott has a good relationship with his neighbours and taking a break to get some pizza from next door or even delivered into the shop makes for a fun day out with friends. It's important to support local businesses and Aardvarks and Dragons is one of the best I know.

Had a great experience as a first time buyer. And very happy with the service and expertise. I'll defiantly be going back for the r2d2 a c-3po figures
