Yellow Coloured Cafe
10 Unwin Avenue Rosyth, KY11 2ZQ Dunfermline, Fife
We are a cafe that runs gaming events in the evenings. We currently run three nights a week, for wargaming, roleplaying, and card gaming. We are looking to expand our offerings, both in terms of adding additional games and additional nights. There is a small Lorcana community that we wish to expand support for. We are also expecting an upsurge in player numbers from August as a new secondary school is opening nearby.

Edit in response to the owner’s comment: My name is not Karen, so stop using this as a cheap insult. Contrary to your false assertions here, I did not ever raise my voice to your staff, and in fact quite the opposite. I did however point out that the price was absurd, and I was making a point of letting your staff know that, so, you do not get to speak about my credibility here with entirely false accusations. It is your businesses’ credibility that is in question here, and not anyway my right as a customer to complain and clearly and concisely challenge your business on it. Also, The man you mention below who was beside me in the queue said ‘What do you hope to get out of this, mate?’. I then explained that it was the point I was raising and nothing more. Not once did I raise my voice ever, so, don’t try and pull that dodgy piece of mistruth here. It was low quality food that you sold us, and you charged extortionate prices more elevated than decent eateries charge, and that is just not on. Potential customers, please read the reviews from other paying customers, many of whom have also commented with very similar opinions to my own: That you are ripping people off! I was just charged £14.50 for two really quite pathetic ham salad rolls, and in short you have scammed me. Not only did I consider this to be vastly overpriced, but you then defended this by also asking me how much I would expect to pay elsewhere. Well, by and in comparison, in Edinburgh I could have compared many places with you who are of a much higher standard, and who have cheaper and better food, and those two rolls you gave us showed no food skills in presentation or in taste. Let me suggest to you too here that your morning Morton’ style soft roll wasn’t just bad for this price, but your defending it did nothing other than to add insult to injury. A skilled business owner and communicator does not respond like you did, are you’re sorely lacking in general manners. I’ll wager too that that is why your place was empty on a warm sunny Saturday afternoon. Look at my other reviews and you’ll see that I’ve worked for and reviewed restaurants the world over, and I deal with food eateries on a weekly basis too, so it’s not like my opinions are fleeting or just unfair. It is this simple here, this was sharp practice, and an entirely unrealistic and really dodgy price you charged us for two badly made rolls. Instead of having any humility whatsoever though, you have also resorted to cheap jibes and responses, and it reveals volumes about the lack of regard you have for customers. The low quality ham cubes on those rolls, was processed and of really low quality and not even real ham, so you’re really taking the absolute p—s! Unless you’ve got no choice people, do not go here and I would properly avoid this place. It’s bit of a scam and the owner has no humility whatsoever, and also insults people who dare to challenge his farcical pricing. I suggest too (Dear owner) you post your video here that you’ve used as a threat. Really, go on and post it. Oh, maybe develop some interpersonal skills too and give less of the personal insults as well regarding what people can and cannot afford. This is beyond cheap these kind of jibes, and no self respecting business that cares about how they are perceived would place any kind of response like this. Retain your dignity!

In these days where everyone is so quick to criticise and judge, even a small business/cafe, I couldn't find a fault here. The staff were friendly, service was quick and the food was great and reasonably priced. Easy to get parked too. It's a great place and I'd happily return.

The veggie breakfast is delicious and the staff are lovely - an easy recommendation for locals or visitors! (The cappuccino was great too)

Really good food. The chilli nachos could have been spicier but I understand not everyone likes spicy food. There's a children's play area for the kids. Good place for lunch or even just a coffee.

Came by early morning just after opening time. Presumably owner was so friendly and got started cooking everything fresh right away. The spot itself is catered really nicely for families with loads of kids books available and a small soft play area to keep kids entertained while out & about, even a kids step in the bathroom to reach the sink. The food itself was unreal like proper quality breakfast and grabbed an iced coffee which was so good too. Super lil gem of a place , if we’re passing by again will definitely be calling in.
