Great choice of books and good layout. Good cafe although seating a little crowded re closeness to others and been to other Waterstones with more relaxed seating to help book browsing. Male member of staff very friendly and helpful. Seemed to not have many staff on duty to help.

I always buy my books here, a wide selection of books, lots of space, friendly staff. I can get lost there for hours just enjoying the smell of books, the atmosphere, and quietness. I think the people working there do a great job: everything is always neat and tidy. I think it’s a perfect place in Leeds for a bookworm.

Such a huge range of books, there's really something for everyone! The staff are really helpful and have a wide knowledge of the books on offer, and can really assist you with recommendations. There are often 'buy one get one half price' deals on the books, which is nice as books are expensive nowadays. The only thing is I wish the upstairs floors had air conditioning - it's always so hot on the second and third floors, which makes it a bit unbearable to browse or go to the cafe.

This bookstore is one of my absolute favourite places to go. Every time I walk in, it feels like stepping into a beautiful, comforting world of its own. The range of books is incredible, from classic British authors to voices from across the globe, and it truly feels like there’s something for everyone. I also love the entire space, especially the little details like the book-themed merchandise and tote bags to keychains and beautifully designed bookmarks. Everything is so aesthetically pleasing and thoughtfully curated. Yes, it’s a bit on the expensive side, but the experience of being there makes it worth it. I genuinely wish I could work there or just exist in that space all the time. It’s simply beautiful, and I adore it.

Came here for the Map Men book signing event today! Great environment, and very warm and welcoming, I was quite nervous at first so this was helpful. The staff were really attentive and nice. Easy to navigate and staff were vocal on where to go/queue for event. Seems like a generally nice store although we didn’t buy anything (event was on after the store had closed, I imagine we wouldn’t have been allowed to browse the store to buy much!) I would definitely return to a Waterstones book event.
