I visited this branch today, looking for suggestions for books for young children. This is the third time that I have used their expertise and staff never disappoint. Im out of touch with books for children but I know I can always rely on te staff from this branch. Wanted a book about dragons for 5 year old and a picture book for todlee. Left the shop with 3 book. Very happy. Staff was able to suggest several books. I have had two previous similar experiences so finally I was compelled to take time to write review.

Lovely bookshop. Well stocked and busy but not crowded.

We visited during the busy week leading up to Christmas looking for Children's titles. There's a tremendous selection that our 8 year old daughter loved checking out. Inside was clean, tidy with well organised but fast queues at the tills. Though pricier than other places, definitely worth it just for choice. Thank you

Visit frequently and happy with the huge range of books. Staff are always pleasant but my main annoyance is the childish sign writing. Book categories listed in white chalk above the shelves, which look like they have been written by an eight year old! Also a really poorly drawn picture of Bristol Suspension Bridge. I have mentioned this to the staff twice now and been told that they will be getting new signage shortly... this was over a year ago. Surely a shop of this calibre which focuses on literature and literacy should be setting an example?
