Infruriating…. I have taken my son 4 times now to the shop, he has only managed to go in once as the other 3 times it was closed. The opening hours really need updating as on the website today(Sunday) it says open till 4pm but yet again it was closed when we got there. Also NOBODY ever answers the phone so that we can check before we make the half hour journey.

A fantastic range of single and graded cards which are always fun to look at. Usually some big hitter cards which are always fun to see. Generally fair prices on the singles which I’m happy to pay. The cafe space is lovely, and it’s fab to see people competing in tournaments, chatting with friends, completing master sets or looking through bulk for specific cards. I always enjoy sitting in the space looking for bulk. Some staff are really friendly and nice to chat to and some aren’t. It’s very mixed depending on who’s in and who you get at the till. One man was very dismissive of me. However, I wish I could remember the name of the lovely man I met recently who explained all the cards on the wall to me, he was lovely. However, sealed products are very expensive and well above retail. I would say comparatively to many stores in the East Midlands area, this shop might have the least fair trading and selling deals. It’s always lower than what I work out, even having used a fair average of eBay last solds and TCGPlayer. I think this needs checking and being made consistent. Also, I’ve found they update their cards on the weekend and so some of the cabinets are empty, which I think is a bit of a strange time to do it. When I travel 50 minutes on a weekend, I’d hope their stock would be out to look at. Overall though, usually a fun visit and I’d return.

Visited this shop today for the first time to trade in some cards, and the guy that helped us was really helpful, and polite. He priced everything up infront of us, even told us how much the total worth is and what they'd offer. We really appreciated that he took the time to explain what percentage they'd offer us per card type, and wasn't pressured into accepting that offer either. Super helpful, and would definitely recommend. We had a great experience and a good conversation about collectibles too! Thank you so much.

Absolutely awful customer service. Staff were not interested in helping whatsoever and showed zero interest in making new customers feel welcome. I would not recommend visiting unless you want to be made to feel completely unwelcome and like a burden.

Lovely place, lovely staff, good prices, lots of events for different TCG. Cannot ask for a better shop for new players who just started playing TCG
