Absolutely love this shop! My friends and I come here regularly to play Pokémon TCG, and it’s always a great experience. They have a really good range of TCG products, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Hopefully I’ll see even more people at the weekly events!🤩🤩🔥🔥

This store was recommended to me by a good friend Ray , lovely cozy store and lovely people running the store also. Good prices and of course theres tables inside to play the TCG as they do host the tournaments and pre release for upcoming sets 👌 100000% recommended if you are in or around Birmingham

I had a great experience at Silvermine TCG during a recent pre-release event. The atmosphere was really welcoming, whether you’re new or experienced, and it made the whole event a lot more enjoyable. Everything was well organised, from registration to gameplay, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. There was a good mix of players, which made matches fun and engaging, and the overall vibe was relaxed but still competitive in a good way. Definitely a top spot if you’re into trading card games — I’ll be coming back for future events

Damaged item sent – seller refused to acknowledge fault I purchased a sealed Pokémon 151C booster box for my collection. When it arrived, the outer box was visibly damaged, with a crushed corner and torn shrink wrap — completely unacceptable for a sealed collector’s item priced at £105. The packaging was solid, so the damage clearly occurred before dispatch. When I raised this with Silvermine, they refused to recognise it as a defect, claiming that “standard trading card definitions” do not require mint condition unless requested at checkout. That’s not how UK consumer law works. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality and as described, and the condition of the packaging matters for collectible items. I should not have to request basic quality assurance in a note. Only after quoting the law multiple times did they agree to refund me — but they continued to deny responsibility and acted like they were doing me a favour. Their own return policy also misstates the law, offering only 14 days for returns and mentioning admin/restocking fees even for defective items. I’ve reported their conduct to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards, as consumers deserve better. Buy from them only if you’re willing to risk receiving damaged goods with no upfront accountability.
