The best local card shop I’ve ever come across - such lovely people who run it and they genuinely care about the community, ensuring that genuine collectors are able to get stock at RRP and combating scalpers. Couldn’t recommend more

I’ve been going to Sarah’s Shinies pretty much since they opened late last year, and somehow I now find myself popping in 3 or 4 times a week! 😂 Every time I walk through the door I’m greeted with a smile, whether it’s Ben, Sarah, Maddie or Kris. What started as me going in for Pokémon cards has turned into so much more — I’ve genuinely made a little community of friends there, all of whom are always happy to help with whatever ridiculous Pokémon project I’ve decided to take on next… and believe me, there have been FEW! 😂 The selection of cards and sealed product is always massive, and one of the best things is that new releases are actually sold at RRP. No scalping, no silly prices — just a proper local card shop doing things right! 👏 I’m also really looking forward to the new room opening next door. The shop is so popular that it can fill up pretty quickly, so having all that extra space is going to be fantastic. I can already see me spending longer periods of time there and a bigger dent on my bank balance! On a personal note, my 12-year-old godson absolutely loves coming to the shop. He doesn’t always do brilliantly with big crowds, and the team have previously let him come in and sit down early before trade nights so he can get settled. It might seem like a small thing, but it was genuinely thoughtful and really appreciated. ❤️ There’s always a brilliant atmosphere, plenty of people to chat Pokémon with, and you’re made to feel welcome whether you’re there to buy something, trade, learn or just have a natter. Honestly, best local card shop for miles! 🙌 I’d recommend Sarah’s Shinies to absolutely anyone — whether you’re a complete newbie who has just go into the hobby, or a seasoned collector who knows their Charizard from their Caterpie 😂. I recently decided it was time to sell my Pokémon card collection, so I searched online for a reputable local store and came across Sarah's Shinies. After seeing so many fantastic reviews, I got in touch via email. Sarah replied incredibly quickly and was friendly, helpful, and clearly very knowledgeable from the very first message. We agreed on a price, and I arranged to visit the store to hand everything over. The shop itself is small and cosy with a really welcoming atmosphere. There were several people in the store while I was there, and everyone was chatting and having a laugh, which made it feel like a great little community. Sarah was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. She greeted me with a smile, took the time to go through everything carefully, and even priced up some additional cards that I'd found and brought along at the last minute. Once everything was sorted, the payment was sent by bank transfer straight away. The whole experience was honest, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sarah's Shinies to anyone looking to buy, sell, or simply chat about Pokémon cards and other games! I'll definitely be visiting again in the future!

What a fantastic little shop this place is. Ben and Sarah are always so welcoming and friendly from the moment you walk through the door. I've traded cards in here a few times already, and always felt like they give you a fair deals, on top of great prices on the things they have in stock too. In terms of stock, they have always have some brilliant items in, and you always find something new and interesting every time you come in. It's definitely the kind of place that stands out from the rest, and is run by amazing people who care about the hobby, their customers, and the business they a building. Would 100% recommend to people to pop down even if it's just for a browse.
