Absolutely fantastic shop and easily a five-star experience. Retro by Ronnie is much more than just a trading card shop. There’s a really interesting mix of Pokémon cards, collectibles, old memorabilia and all sorts of nostalgic items, so there’s plenty to look through even if you’re not going in for one particular thing. The staff are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. On our most recent visit, Scott was particularly fantastic. His knowledge of Pokémon cards and the different sets was excellent, and he was brilliant with my daughter, taking the time to explain things and help her properly rather than making the experience feel rushed. I unfortunately missed the owner’s name, but he was also absolutely fantastic with us and really helpful with the whole family. You can tell there’s a genuine interest in what they sell and in making sure people have a good experience when they visit. It’s exactly the sort of independent shop you want to support — knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and full of interesting things. A very easy five stars from us. We’ll definitely be back.

An immaculately presented vintage and retro toy shop with a fantastic selection of toys and collectibles spanning the 1970s through the 2000s, plus a great Pokémon range. It’s genuinely a must-visit. If I had one minor criticism, it’s that a few items are priced above current market value—even for a brick-and-mortar store. However, there are still plenty of great deals to be found, so don't let that deter you. Highly recommended as one of the best vintage toy shops in the country!

Absolutely amazing place for geeks of all genres. My partner and I go in frequently to buy each other little bits and bobs. I love the artwork on the walls and how stock is always being updated. The old building safe room being turned into a star wars den of figures and memorabilia is a favourite touch of ours. And of course, they sell Pokémon cards which are a favourite of mine. The sheer amount of stuff they have is astonishing. From signed Rocky film boxing gloves to back to the future hover boards and figures of every kind including a giant life size Iron Man figure in the corner.

Really fun place if you love classic movies and collectibles. Ronnie was also very helpful in finding the Tom Selleck photos that I had seen when I last visited about a year ago (and finally came back to purchase!), and had a nice chat with us too. They’re now in pride of place on our landing wall.

One word 'Unbelievable!' The ultimate toy shop !! (Could spend all day in there, if my credit card could take it :-) !!.. Excellent shop, staff, layout, and the quality of their toys ....it's like buying brand new. Stunned at these toys, some bringing over 40 years old and come with instructions and in some cases perfect packaging. You have to take a visit !.... ( make sure you have plenty of time ). I went around 3 times and still missed things due to the amount of stock they have. Cannot wait for my next visit !!!
