Hands down best card store , prices are so good. The knowledge of the staff is best around and the whole atmosphere in the shop can’t be beaten. No matter what day you go in the variety and amount of stock is out of this world they have price ranges for everyone. The owners and staff have so much time for everyone who goes in and when I have been there they spend time with the kids looking through their collections and passing some knowledge on. Can honestly say it’s one of the few places I’ve been who care more about community than profit

If I could leave zero stars, I would!! I would never visit Miwk Collectibles again. I went to them while trying to raise urgent money for my dog’s veterinary treatment, and I feel they completely took advantage of that situation. The worst example was a binder of around 150 cards. Miwk offered me £110 for it. The exact same binder, with the exact same cards, was later taken to another store where I received £245. That is more than double what Miwk offered me. For a business that advertises that they pay the best prices, my experience was the complete opposite. A difference of £110 compared with £245 is not a small variation in valuation — it is huge. My 12-year-old son was also involved. He traded approximately nine cards that Miwk valued at around £110. The exact same cards were later traded elsewhere for £135. I am particularly upset that this involved a child, and I feel he was taken advantage of too. There were also EX cards that I believe were significantly undervalued, with some offered at 25p despite being worth much more. After speaking with other card businesses, I was told that 50p is a more typical bulk rate for many EX cards, and some of the same types of cards were valued much higher elsewhere. When we realised how poor the offers were, we contacted Miwk on Instagram and were ignored. We then went back to the store the next day to reverse the transactions. The female staff member was apologetic, which I appreciated, but the gentleman tried to defend the valuations using screenshots. In my view, this did not change the fact that the offers were nowhere near competitive compared with what we received elsewhere. They did eventually reverse both transactions, but only after we returned to the store in person. That does not change how misled I feel about the original transactions. In my opinion, they took advantage of someone in an urgent and vulnerable situation, and they also took advantage of a child. Based on my experience, I would strongly warn anyone thinking of selling or trading cards here to get several other quotes first. Do not rely on their advertising about paying the best prices.

When I showed interest in purchasing an item, the staff quickly repriced it and changed the sticker while I was still browsing. At the same time, they noticeably increased the prices of other items next to it to match. This feels like a very dishonest way to run a business, and I hope people remember this once the Pokémon hype fades. Very disappointing.
