Misfit Hobbies Coleraine

Definitely my favourite place in the North Coast. Sam and Ben always have big smiles on their faces and loves interacting with the community. So many events take place during the month which you can get a ten percent discount on tickets by purchasing the subscription (only ten pounds!) which also means you don't have to pay 5 pounds for a table if playing boardgames. Sam and Ben have opened this lovely safe environment which has enabled me to always meet new friends every time I go down, run a DND campaign and get reintroduced to MTG (great for me not great for my wallet lol) Will be coming here for years to come

Misfit Hobbies is so much more than just a store. Such a warm, welcoming environment where we were able to hire a table to play board games from their library while enjoying a cup of tea. We also got great advice, recommendations and super customer service (they even went and got more hot chocolate when they ran out). After trying out a few different games we ended up buying 5 new games to enjoy at home. We will definitely be regular visitors!

Fantastic store for any new or experienced gamer. Great range of tabletop miniature, board game, hobby, and roleplaying products plus space for miniature and board gaming. Was in during the first month of opening and the team were brilliant and had a great setup already. Keen to see the store and community around it grow.

Misfit Hobbies is a fantastic new addition to Coleraine and a real haven for tabletop game fans of all ages. The store has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes everyone feel welcome, whether you’re a seasoned gamer or just curious to try something new. Sam and Ben, who run the shop, are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do—they go out of their way to help and create a relaxed, inclusive space. It’s the kind of place you can happily spend hours browsing, playing, and chatting. Highly recommended for families, friends, and anyone looking for a great community-focused game store.

We love board games, but there are games in here we have never heard of which was cool. We ended up purchasing 2 games recommended by the guys in store, who were so helpful and honestly we have had the most fun over the Christmas period introducing beautiful and fun games to our friends and family. We'll be back to try some other games 🙌
