I love coming to Mayhem to play games with my friends. There’s plenty of space to play trading card games, and rooms dedicated for Warhammer and D&D. There’s good variety of products available at reasonable prices e.g Magic the gathering, Pokemon TCG, Warhammer, One Piece etc. I’ve always found some cool or hidden gems for my commander decks here. They also host prerelease, Friday Night Magic, Pokemon TCG events that are always fun to go to. The owners and staff are very friendly and they’ve always made me feel welcome, and the peeps that go are some of the coolest I’ve ever met. 10/10

I’m a new MTG player, I went in asked question was shown and explained everything, introduced to multiple people. Everyone has been so genuine and welcoming. I went into a Draft tournament with 0 experience and had a great time with staff owner and other people. Moving on I’ve visited many more times and it’s been great. Don’t be afraid to say hello it goes a long way :)

Such a weird vibe. Unfortunately there has been an increase in shoplifters which I whole heartedly sympathise with (why I’m giving two stars instead of one), although when it comes to shopping here the vibe is just incredibly strange. You’re watched constantly and treated like a guilty party for browsing through games. So much so it’s difficult to browse this shop without feeling like the staff think you are going to steal their stuff. Browsing games has become such a chore due to this and you really can feel eyes on you the whole time when you’re in the shop on your own or with two other customers etc. They’ll have three staff members in there and they’ll make loud comments to each other such as “we’ve had so many shoplifters”, “can you take extra time to look out for people stealing please”. I can understand they are looking after their stuff but does this need to be said when you have like TWO customers in the shop? It’s really awkward and it’s happened on numerous occasions, once when I was in the shop on my own., funny enough it isn’t mentioned when 20+ people are in the shop though? Also, if you leave without buying something you’re watched all the way to the door Words of advice - get some ‘CCTV in operation’ signs and ‘shoplifters will be prosecuted’ signs.

Really disappointed with this store. Used to have a lot of respect for the owner until I was sold a preorder for 2 booster bundles. Paid for months in advance. To be gaslit by the owner that I somehow missed the collection date at the 24th April was some sort of second wave of ascended booster bundles. “I can’t give you two bundles because the cases are spoken for, but here’s loose (potentially weighed) packs to make up for it” so why sell me an preorder? Also found out the owner sells cases to one person, will be reported to asmodee.
