Scrolling through Facebook, and noticed a few replies to people's comments on photos of products on the company page. Calling people thick and just being very unprofessional in general. Even if what you are saying is correct. You can do so without being vile. Would recommend plenty of other card shops where the staff are nothing but friendly. Even when faced with difficult people or customers. No need to call people stupid or react in such a way. Just very unprofessional. Let people say whatever they want. No need to react in such a way.

Asked what the cheapest pokemon packs were and was told that a single pack of paradox rift was £9. Hardly any other stock in terms of affordable things as all the rest of the packs were £10-£20 for single booster packs. Absolutely mental prices and the employee hardly even acknowledged my existence until I asked how much the cheapest pack was considering no prices were displayed. However I will give them the fact that they had a decent selection of singles and accessories however they too had no price on display so who knows what crazy prices they may have been.

I went into the store recently with my two nephews and my brother in law. We’re all Magic players and collectors, but the nephews love Pokémon and that’s why we went to this store as we were passing through. Myself and my brother in law have been Magic players and collectors since we were teens. We visit local gaming stores and see what they’re about and do want to support them. While we were privately talking about the cost of some of the Pokemon packs, where we all agreed a lot of the prices were scalper rated. A bald headed guy came up behind us mid conversation and swore at us then aggressively told us to leave. We weren’t being loud or complaining. Just a quiet conversation. This really upset my younger nephew. Neither of them are use to such anger and aggression. We went to another store who were much friendlier. Honestly, i don’t know if that guy was the owner or a member of staff, but someone needs to have a conversation with them. Completely unacceptable. I feel torn about leaving this review. Never in my life have I ever come across this from a local game store. If my nephews weren’t there, we would have let this go. However this individual was nasty and wanted a confrontation. Seemed to have a chip on his shoulder sort of person. Appalling behaviour.

Super friendly staff, great range, fun atmosphere. Managed to pick up some White Flare which is very exciting! Bulk is well organised for hunting for specific cards and there's loads of Chinese and Korean cards behind the counter too. Great cafe attached, vegan cheesy jacket potato was lush!

Amazing shop: friendly staff, good vibes, great music. Game nights are lots of fun! Plus new Lads n Dads cafe (Mary's Kitchen) next door has delicious food which you can eat whilst playing games!
