The vibes are lovely, the staff friendly and a lot of knowledgeable people are in the shop! There are two separate spaces for activities and regularly updated schedules for events etc. Quite a big selection of boardgames as well as TCGs and minis, and a nice demo library with board games as well that are free to use! It is very apparent that the people running the business love games and are customer-focused but also support charities as well. Prices are within reason and new stock comes in regularly and reliably. Overall, definitely worth a visit!

Great shop very welcoming, this is my go to place to play magic the gathering. Have a good selection of food and drink to enjoy whilst gaming.

Amazing and friendly people, i've went from quiet and in the house all the time to finding a place amongst others like myself here.

My first visit to Geeks of the Galaxy was about 6 months ago, after visiting numerous other game shops across the Northeast. When I entered the shop, it was quite busy with lots of people chatting and playing games. It would have been easy for me to become overwhelmed; however, several people were quick to say hello and introduce themselves, and my anxieties were immediately lessened. I was made to feel welcome, and because I was new to Magic: The Gathering (I'd only been playing a few weeks, and my main reason for visiting), everyone I spoke with was happy to share their often professional experience and advice. Since my initial visit went so well, I've been returning and visiting Geeks weekly (occasionally twice a week). I've met lots of new and interesting people, and I've been introduced to some weird and wonderful new games. Recently, I have started taking part in various RPG campaigns, such as Dungeons & Dragons, Fallout, and Cyberpunk, and have received nothing but encouragement and support from everyone involved. I don't often write reviews about shops, etc., but I feel that Geeks of the Galaxy is more than a place to purchase gaming paraphernalia; it is a community hub that brings people together, where they can feel welcomed, safe, and supported to join in social activities, meet interesting new people, and, most importantly, have lots and lots of fun.
