Great place to pick up manga and figures, I’ve been a few times and there’s always a decent selection of stuff in stock. Stuff always seems to change whenever I come in so it’s always worth a visit just to see what they’ve got in store that day, staff are really nice too and it’s really easy to get to. Do be warned that basement does get really hot in the summer though, but there is a fan so it ain’t much of a problem it’s a great place to go to whenever you’re in Manchester

Funky Pop heaven. Large range of funky pops available with a book/comic section. Mix of toys, plushies, etc with mysterious boxes worth £60 priced at £19.99. Be warmed; going downstairs on a warm day is like going into a furnace. The fan used isn't able to air circulate due to flow of air and people.

Forbidden Planet Leeds – pure pop culture heaven! I absolutely adore Forbidden Planet – it’s easily one of my favourite shops in all of Leeds. Located right in the city centre, it’s an unmissable spot for anyone who loves comics, sci-fi, fantasy, movies, TV, anime or gaming. The selection is just fantastic: you’ll find everything from new releases and classic comics, graphic novels and books, to detailed action figures, rare collectibles, posters, clothing, board games and official merchandise from all your favourite franchises. There’s always something new and exciting to discover, no matter how many times you visit. The atmosphere is so fun and welcoming, and the staff are brilliant – super friendly, really knowledgeable and always happy to help or recommend something great. It’s the kind of place where you can happily spend ages browsing, and you’re almost guaranteed to find something you love. If you’re a fan of pop culture, this shop is an absolute must-visit in Leeds – I can’t recommend it enough!

I've always loved this place so much! It's pure heaven for any fan of films, TV and comics. I normally go in for merch and the odd comic. But today I was looking for Supergirl: Women of Tomorrow, to read before the film comes out. The guys were all super lovely and shoutout to the awesome Chris who spent a good while with me giving suggestions on other comics to read. I went in for 1 and left with 6 exciting reads 🤣. Highly recommend

A really great place to go to get presents or just find something for yourself. There were a lot of things to suit my interests and I've noticed, especially for the manga section, that they've changed the layout and some manga aren't there/on display which is a shame because there's only so much I want to get currently. Really great deal of the 3 for 2 on any manga sale and if you're buying any normal item then you can use your student ID to get 10% off purchase.
