Daves Comics

have been going to Dave’s since i was a teenager, have always loved it. but felt compelled to write this after my most recent visit where i was served by a wonderful woman who was passionate, well informed and super friendly. i never caught her name annoyingly but she deserves a shout out! dave’s comics forever.

First class service and knowledge. Hadn't read a new book for a few years so went in for some recommendations and yr man talked enthusiastically for about 10 minutes, going through a load of different genres and options. Basically gave me a potted 5 year catch up on comics books. Understood what I was looking for straight away. The best kind of help.

I love heading here when I go to Brighton. I think they have their shop laid out well, making it easy to distinguish between the big and independent publishers. The staff are helpful and very knowledgeable. I nearly always pick up something from their recommended reading section, as any time I do, I’m never let down.

This one doesn't just hold it's own amongst the best comic and collectible stores around, it is one of the best. From the moment you walk in the staff are welcoming and the diverse array of stock draws you every which way except out again. For me the big draw here is the colossal range of comic back issues on offer. Spread mostly across two rooms upstairs, even the walls are covered in comics and every visit is a new voyage of discovery from which I always return with something new. There is almost too much to look through (no bad thing if you ask me) and all well sorted by title, so the only thing you need to worry about is which titles to look at. If you're even slightly into comics you need to visit Dave's. Simple as that.
