Great place with generally a good selection of Warhammer and MTG. Unfortunately a bit out of the way for me, but I have booked a table for a day, a couple of times, and always had fun. I find their selection of items good and they are always happy to order anything in they don't have (but at that point I may as well have it delivered to my house). Good customer service and friendly helpful staff overall.

helpful staff, good range of products from different games. for MTG it is recommended to order online as it is impossible to browse through all their single cards but they were very happy for us to place the order there and then locate and pack the order for us within 20 minutes.

This place is great, loads of boardgames space downstairs, loads of wargaming table space upstairs. We regularly visit to play old world. They set up the boards for us, so we don't need our terrain, they have a coffee machine and a fridge so we can get drinks, a small shop so we can browse and everyone is super friendly

I stopped by Cryptic Cabin recently and honestly had such a great experience that I felt it deserved a proper shout-out. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is run by people who genuinely care about the hobby community. The atmosphere is really welcoming, whether you’re a long-time tabletop gamer, miniature painter, or just someone curious about getting into it. The selection is fantastic. There’s a really nice range of miniatures, paints, hobby tools, and tabletop games, and everything is displayed in a way that actually makes you want to browse. I particularly loved the Warhammer section – plenty of kits and supplies, and it didn’t feel like one of those shops where everything is picked over or out of stock. What really stood out though was the staff. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to chat without making you feel pressured to buy anything. They were more than willing to answer questions, give advice on painting and building, and even recommend things based on what I was interested in. It felt much more like talking to fellow hobbyists than dealing with a typical shop. The space itself is also really cool – clean, well organised, and with a great vibe that makes you want to stay a while and look around properly. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making it a welcoming place for the local gaming and hobby community. Overall, this is easily one of the best hobby shops I’ve visited in a long time. If you’re into miniatures, tabletop games, painting, or just want to discover something new, Cryptic Cabin is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing local game shop and now my number 1 go to for all hobby needs. Staff are friendly knowledgeable and welcoming. The store is always clean, warm and well lit and they have a great selection of gaming tables and terrain. More than that they have cultivated a great community which makes it easy to find players to game with. Their tournaments and events are well worth taking part in!
