Bridge Troll Boardgame Café

We visited Bridge Troll Boardgame Cafe after meeting the owner at a local National Trust event while we were on holiday in Devon. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The cafe is full of soooo many games and merch as well as such a large selection of Pokémon cards. My children (age 9 and 10) absolutely loved it and enjoyed spending their pocket money. There was a good selection of snacks and hot drinks to enjoy while you played. We visited on a Saturday for their Pokémon session. For those that didn't know how to play the game the staff took you through step-by-step which was really helpful, especially for us parents! Gutted there isn't something similar where we live. Would highly recommend for a rainy day or any Pokémon fans (young and old!)

What a fantastic find. One of the best LGS’s I’ve visited. Great single selection for Pokemon and mtg. Great playing space, I attended their FNM (Friday night magic) event while I was visiting town. Both the staff and local community was incredibly welcoming, a few locals offered to let me borrow pauper or commander decks so I could get fully involved since I didn’t bring my own equipment on holiday. Fair pricing, notably the owner was willing to negotiate on the price of the atraxa you see in my photo, based on tcg player pricing which was fair and flexible of them. I really appreciate it. Can’t recommend this store enough. If I lived here I’d be visiting every Friday at a minimum, while I was here for a week I made 4 trips! Thanks for making a small part of my visit memorable!

Bridge Troll reignited my passion for collecting! Wanting to get back to collecting Pokemon TCG, I visited Bridgetroll very unsure of where to get started. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, immediately putting you at ease. Since my first visit early last year, Bridge troll has become something of a second home. The staff encouraged and welcomed me to learn to play the tcg, now regularly attending the pre releases. If you are new to a hobby, or are an avid collector, bridge troll is the perfect place to be.

First time going to Bridge Troll for our first ever purchase of Pokémon cards (Perfect Order). The staff & atmosphere of the shop was really nice, felt welcoming & not judged for buying the cards. On the second pack my partner opened she managed to get a great card, Meowth! Thank you to Bridge Troll for the info & help. Will definitely be back to buy more things & hopefully some gaming sessions in the future.

Amazing spot, very friendly staff. It feels like being at home. Great stock of pokemon cards, when everywhere is sold out, this place will almost certainly have what you need. Suited for adults and kids alike, cant recommend them enough.
