Popped into Blue Sheep Books the other day and ended up staying way longer than planned. Really nice, relaxed atmosphere, the kind of place you can just take your time in. Coffee was genuinely great too, had a latte that was spot on. The young guy working there was super friendly and helpful when I asked a few questions (not sure if he owns it or not), but he made the visit feel really welcoming. Also, they’ve got a black cat roaming around which was a highlight for me plus it’s pet friendly, which you don’t see that often. Would definitely recommend stopping by for a coffee and a browse.

What a gem! This store has everything thing you need when it comes to books, coffee, games and more. Run by people who are accommodating, welcoming and happy to help with your purchase. While I was browsing the shop, two customers came in and both were surprised at how fast thier book order had been ordered and ready for collection. I got everything I wanted and more! This is also a Play! Pokemon venue, MTG play venue and be sure to look out for MAX the cat 🐈! Thanks again and see you soon 😊

Blue sheep books is such a lovely environment and my partner and I visit quite frequently. We often buy Pokémon product and I buy my books from here. I have never had a problem with their Pokémon prices and I think it’s quite reasonable to have an un-seal price in the current climate of Pokémon scalpers. Blue sheep is a small independent business and the last thing they want is scalpers taking all of the Pokémon product - what they seem to value the most is regulars who actively support them as a business which is incredibly important to me. Continuing on from this - they have a very large selection of Pokémon singles that you can browse inside the store. I think it’s also important to note that this is one of the only places that you can sit down and have a coffee with the orchard closing down. Overall, I absolutely recommend Blue sheep books! A great place for coffee, books and Pokémon cards :) (oh and the brownies are ELITE haha)

They bang on about scalpers but there just as bad you buy product from this store at a HIGH Price and they say they must remove the seal off of the product or remover the barcode off the box apparently to stop you from being a scalper ( definition of being a scalper) yet they forget that Pokemon is a hobby and people like to collect these products for there own collections for them to charge me £216 for a booster box and tell me I cant have it sealed or keep the box aswell place is a joke not a proper Pokemon shop in my eyes there just all about the money go to the graded gallery and they actually let you keep it sealed!!! If I buy something I own it simple as that you wouldn’t buy a car from a garage and they take the engine out to stop you from selling it lol , they only buy at 60% the value of your card aswell so they can resell it at 110% value , plus the both staff are arrogant think there better than you 😅 I personally won’t spend a penny in there again much rather make the trip over to brum for the graded gallery

Whats better than having a small independent bookstore in your town? I’ll tell you. It’s having an indie bookstore with not one, but two book clubs, open mic nights, Pokémon events and author events. They sell great coffee, beers, wine, cookies and I hear people are literally addicted to their hot chocolate and brownies 😂. I came for the books, came back again and again for the warm welcome, helpful staff and amazing sense community offered at their event evenings. We’re very lucky to have you in our little town
