Never used them before, but the delivery processing and speed was spectacular. Also a big thanks to Graham for throwing in a free promo pack, pulled some sweet Bloomburrow stuff :) Highly recommended!

Battlefield Hobbies, located in Daventry, Northamptonshire, is a true gem for tabletop wargaming enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned veteran or just starting out in the hobby, this venue offers a welcoming, well-equipped, and engaging space to dive into the world of miniature battles, historical games, and more. The facility itself is spacious and well-lit, with plenty of room for large gaming tables, each set up with detailed terrain and high-quality mats. The atmosphere is casual but focused, making it ideal for both competitive tournaments and casual gaming sessions. It’s clear that the staff and regulars care deeply about the hobby, as the level of organization and community involvement is top-notch. Battlefield Hobbies regularly hosts events for systems like Bolt Action, Flames of War, Warhammer, and other historical and fantasy wargames. Their events are known for being well-run, friendly, and inclusive. New players are made to feel at home, and there’s always someone willing to offer advice, lend models, or explain rules. The retail section is another highlight. It’s stocked with a wide range of miniatures, rulebooks, paints, and accessories. Prices are competitive, and the staff is helpful and knowledgeable — whether you’re looking for a hard-to-find model or advice on assembling an army list. Perhaps the best aspect of Battlefield Hobbies is its strong community. From casual open gaming nights to fully booked tournaments, the energy and camaraderie are palpable. They’ve managed to strike a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. Overall, Battlefield Hobbies is one of the UK’s premier destinations for wargaming. It’s more than just a venue; it’s a community hub where the hobby is truly celebrated. Highly recommended for anyone interested in tabletop gaming, historical battles, or just meeting like-minded enthusiasts.
