Bandai Namco Cross Store Birmingham is a fantastic spot for anime, gaming, and collectibles. The store is clean, well organised, and packed with figures, model kits, plushies, and merch from popular series. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making it easy to find what you’re looking for. A great addition to the Bullring for fans of Japanese pop culture.

I wish this place had opened years ago when Bandai were still involved in Power Rangers! The Gachapon machines are quite good here - make sure you note how many tokens they require, each one seems to be different. There's a few machines which you can use to get tokens which accept card and possibly cash. I just wish there were more detailed miniature everyday items in the machines instead of mostly characters and Anime stuff. At the time of writing the only miniatures they have are the Nike sneakers, the Nikon cameras, the dentist room stuff and a couple of mini Gachapon machines. If only they could get the mini items in like the game consoles or stereo equipment. I've not been to the downstairs bit so I can't really review that. But the Gachapon/claw machine area is definitely worth a visit. Look to spend around £5 minimum per Gachapon.

Visited on 13 December 2025 with my kids. We love anime and this shop was a dream for them. So many characters and items to choose from. The kids were really excited and did not want to leave. Prices are a bit high but the quality and variety are very good. Staff were friendly and happy to help. Nice experience overall.

It's been a long time coming but it's finally here! One of the best Japanese pop culture store outside of the country. Bandai Namco has always been part of growing up for me from games like Tekken to SoulCalibur now my new favourite like Elden Ring. No one does it better than the original king of nostalgia. This store has it all, the first floor is full of the iconic gashapon machines with all the characters you can think of. And the lower level this is where the excitement begins! you can find Japanese stationery to unique collectibles from One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Tamagotchi's, Gundam and Pacman. The list goes on... They also have a One Piece game card play area where you can bring your deck and all fans can come to battle and build a community no matter what level player you are all is welcome. So glad to have a store like this, can't wait to buy more goodies in future visits!!
