Alita Comics (A Coruña)

I'm very disappointed with my experience. I bought a book that was advertised as new, but it arrived with obvious signs of having been opened and handled. The first 11 pages lie completely flat when opened, and the binding shows signs of having been forced. I've attached photos so you can see for yourselves. I contacted the store and explained the situation. They replied that the book is from 2014 and that, having been in the store for a while, it was difficult for the passage of time not to be noticeable. However, for me, the age of the book is one thing, but it's another for it to show signs of handling and be sold as new. Since they didn't have another copy, I asked if they could give me a small partial refund, and they replied that they couldn't offer a discount because it already had a 5% discount off the face value and that it was worth much more on the secondhand market. I'm going to keep it because it's an out-of-print book I wanted, but I think that if a copy shows these kinds of signs of damage, they should indicate it before selling it as new, regardless of its potential resale value. Bad experience. I won't be buying a book there again.

During my trip to A Coruña, I had the opportunity to visit their two shops, one in the city center and the other near the Natural History Museum. Both are fantastic and have a wide variety of comics and graphic novels. The service was also excellent in both stores.

Excellent experience with Alita Comics. The order arrived in impeccable condition, perfectly packaged, and with a level of care that demonstrates professionalism in every detail. Everything matches the order exactly and is in perfect condition. The volumes arrived brand new, without any marks or imperfections. I personally put them in protective sleeves, even though they were already in excellent condition. A serious and reliable store that inspires confidence. Highly recommended.

A great comic book shop, one of the few that remain. If you visit A Coruña, you might find some very interesting gems here. It has a wide variety and good complete collections at very good prices. Many fans will surely appreciate visiting and finding both new releases and sought-after classics. Highly recommended for comic book and game lovers.

Great customer service and tons of nice products
