We were worried after reading all the bad reviews but honestly, it surpassed our expectations. First we were given 5504 but decided we wanted a view so we upgraded to 1102. We can only speak for those rooms - the first had a double bed and the second had 2 single beds pushed together and it was a bit bigger. The reception is not always attended but we were assisted by the very friendly and kind Romina both at check-in, when we extended our stay and when we left. A big thanks to her for accommodating our various requests and answering all our questions. She is absolutely lovely and she also speaks English. The location is excellent, the room was very clean and spacious for 2 people and had everything we needed. The towels were fluffy, the shower water pressure was great, everything was clean. If I had to choose anything to say that wasn't 100%, maybe it would be that the mattresses are a bit hard and you can hear everything from the hallways and the noise of people in nearby rooms, but it was fine. You can't expect 5-star for this price but it is good value for what we paid. We would return for sure. Thank you!

Terrible. We booked a triple room, and they gave us an extra bed that didn't fit in our room. The furniture was very old, there were spiders, the bathroom wasn't clean, and the shower screen was moldy. The shower barely had any water. The TV didn't work; we went down to reception, and the receptionist came up to try to fix it because the technician had stood them up. She told us she'd tell her bosses to send someone else. We were without anything for a week, and every time we tried to go down to reception to complain, they hid. The restaurant staff were unprofessional and inexperienced. We could hear everything between rooms. Our window overlooked a courtyard that was more like overgrown weeds than anything else. The fire escape had flowerpots in the way, but they weren't planted and were full of cobwebs. This courtyard led to a laundry room, and they would leave the doors and lights on for days on end; nobody went up there. A disgraceful hotel. Apparently, they changed owners this year, which is a shame. The police were there because another guest was denied a complaint form; there was no room for refreshments; another guest was given insulin and it disappeared overnight. The whole thing was awful.

Our experience at this hotel was rather bittersweet. Upon arrival, we were greatly disappointed, as the photos online didn't match the room we were assigned at all. It was very run-down, with cobwebs, a very old and unrenovated bathroom, and it also had a very unpleasant smell. After mentioning it to the receptionist, Romina, I believe her name was, we want to highlight her professionalism and kindness. She apologized immediately, understood the situation, and found us another room, resolving the problem quickly and with excellent service. The location is undoubtedly one of its strong points, as it's very close to the beach, which is very convenient for enjoying the area. However, there's no need to set an alarm. First thing in the morning, the noise from the cleaning staff is so loud that it's practically impossible to sleep. Between moving beds, banging, and the hustle and bustle in the hallways, you're bound to get up. The hotel staff were generally very friendly throughout our stay. However, we believe the facilities are in dire need of renovation, as they are quite run-down and do not match the image presented when booking. While the price is certainly affordable, there's a difference between basic accommodation and the condition of some of the rooms. With a renovation and better maintenance, this hotel could significantly improve the guest experience.

We stayed at the Hotel Nautilus and the experience was excellent. The room was very clean and welcoming, with beautiful sea views and a very comfortable bed that allowed us to enjoy a wonderful rest. Definitely a highly recommended place.

The location is excellent, right across from the sea. However, my experience in the single room was not good. The room faced an interior courtyard, so it had practically no ventilation or natural light, and there was no air conditioning, so my bikini wouldn't dry. Furthermore, on a couple of occasions, the room still hadn't been cleaned by 7:00 PM. The walls are very thin, and you can hear absolutely everything, making it very difficult to rest. It's a shame because the location is truly unbeatable.
