El Lirón

El Liron is literally what Montequinto has needed for a very long time for people passionate about games and geek culture. What a wonderful place to have a shop focused on geek culture, where you can meet new people to share hobbies with, play and buy board games, read and buy a variety of literature, from books and novels by great authors to different genres, paint miniatures and model kits, or simply play your favorite TCGs. It's also worth highlighting the wonderful and friendly service from the owners (Sara and David) and their employee (Hugo), making you feel right at home in a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere, always ready to help you with anything you need. They also have a café, food, and snacks with a wide variety of products (including gluten-free options). It has everything. It's the perfect place to spend entire afternoons with your friends and enjoy a healthy, respectful, safe, and fun environment.

This is my go-to place for buying board games and books. They have a great community, with tons of monthly events, like a book club, miniature painting workshops, role-playing games, and Magic: The Gathering sessions. The atmosphere couldn't be better, and I think it's a great place to go in the mornings for a coffee while reading a book. David and Sara are fantastic! I couldn't have received better service or a warmer welcome at this store. I highly recommend it!

New mission unlocked: The perfect afternoon at The Dormouse. Tables ready for adventure, games at hand, and the perfect combo: a coffee that levels you up, a vanilla milkshake that heals +50 mana, or an ice-cold beer for relaxation mode. (Not forgetting tea.) And to accompany your game, their snacks, which also score high points. Every month they release a trivia calendar that's pure adrenaline: you test your geeky lore knowledge and leave with your morale (and fun) on another level. They also have a shop: board games, books, Magic cards... a whole haul to take home, and if you prefer, you can pre-order. David and Sara are the friendliest NPCs you'll meet, always ready to lend a hand with whatever you need. And if you bring your four-legged companion, welcome too, as long as it's a calm mount that doesn't cause chaos. Going to The Dormouse is like reaching that save point where you regain all your health: you emerge refreshed, with full health and ready for the next game. Highly recommended for any serious gamer.

The Dormouse is WONDERFUL. I've been several times with my partner and friends, and it's addictive. It's a super cozy place, with space for role-playing sessions, board games, or just to read or have a drink (it's wonderful to be able to have a coffee or tea in this atmosphere, if you ask me). The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive to everyone who comes in, and if you need anything, they do everything they can to make you feel at home. They have snacks and meals, games and books that you can also buy, and a really cool section for TCG and role-playing game lovers where you can buy accessories or upgrades for your games. They also have an area for local artists where you can find keychains, accessories, and other similar items that everyone loves. Besides, something that hardly anyone knows is that they have a raffle for very little money where you can win something from all the things you find in the place. You always win something cool! I always recommend it to anyone who comes to or lives in Montequinto; you absolutely have to visit the place at least once in your life!

I think it's my favorite place right now. There are always events, excellent service, a wonderful atmosphere, and lots of board games. I always order books and manga there, and sometimes I just go for a snack or a drink; what I mean is, this place has everything, something for everyone.
