El Bastión del Sur

TLDR: Wonderful, friendly little shop with a huge selection packed into the space. 10/10 ---- We were in Maspalomas on honeymoon and I always try to buy TTRPG dice in every new city I visit, so my wife and I took a wander up the hill to El Bastión Del Sur. The first thing I noticed walking in was the guys playing Warhammer and arguing tactics. I didn't understand them, but some things transcend language. Then there was a whole load of board games, TCGs, books, manga, and of course the HUUUGE selection of Funkos, figurines, busts and statuettes. Now, I did French at school with a little bit of German, so I was the ignorant Brit who no habla Español. Fortunately, the young woman behind the counter (whose name I didn't catch, lo siento, señorita) spoke perfect English and was very friendly and very helpful. We ended up leaving with a bunch of Funkos, and I even got my Gran Canaria dice - a Gremlins themed set. We're in town for a few more days, I hope I find an excuse to drop in again.

Nice Little shops that offers Mtg, Pokemon, Warhammer etc. I always try to find places to play Commander when i am abroad, but i didn't find any events on Wizards official event locator, so i went to ask if they had anything going and to my luck they have commander on Saturdays 17.00-21.00. Played there twice during my vacation with some local guys, who was really friendly and to my luck spoke a bit if english. Best recommations to this store and their community. Best regards Claus

Fantastic place! So much choices and lots of recent titles! Most games in Spanish though, which is expected. We went out with 6 new games ☺️

Good store with some different games. They also have some games in multiple languages, like English. More than in other board game shops on the island. The staff is helpful and very kind. Prices are good.

Great Store with lots of manga, anime and games stuff! As a fan of Sailor Moon I could get some cool items too. Definitely the best place to visit in Maspalomas if you’re a big fan of Manga and Anime!
