A fantastic place to play and hang out with friends, very polite, excellent customer service

I saw a recent comment from a girl and thought it was important to respond from my personal experience. I'm a woman and I go to Excélsior quite often, accompanying my boyfriend to tournaments, and honestly, I've never felt uncomfortable or anything like that, least of all from the owners or the staff. On the contrary, they've always treated me with respect and a good attitude. I understand that everyone has different experiences, and I'm not going to invalidate what someone else felt, but I also don't think it's fair to generalize and say that no woman should go, since in my case I've never been mocked or had any unpleasant comments made. I also think that since it's a space focused on tournaments and card games, it's normal that some players might feel uncomfortable having someone constantly next to them, but that doesn't mean there's any ill intent or discrimination. And regarding the food, the fact that they mainly sell snacks and sodas doesn't make the place bad. In the end, it's still a store focused on TCGs and tournaments, not a restaurant. I just wanted to share my experience because I think it's also valid to show the other side of the situation. ❤️

Honestly, the worst place to go to a TCG tournament. I don't recommend any woman accompany you to a tournament or league (they won't let you in, or if they do, be prepared to hear the owners mockingly saying things like "she's always hanging around" or complaining about your presence). There are no food options, just snacks and sodas. The owners (who are the ones who serve) are very rude. They allow vaping inside the premises (even though the Ministry of Health prohibits it), and if you complain, they won't do anything about it. There's poor ventilation on sunny days (especially in the afternoon), and it gets unbearably hot.

Very nice place to play yu gi oh! Go on friday at around 4/5 pm or watch theyr instagram for events. The people are very friendly and most of them speak a littlebit english!

Excellent place to play any TCG game, the community is awesome and friendly with new players, you can find differents drinks and snacks. They also sell good stuffs about anime and movies
