Video Games Plus

This place have an awesome choice of limited run games, small niche publishers, imports, and various reprints of hard to find games. If you're in Canada and dislike paying customs fees and tariffs, this is the place for you. Plus if you order online, shipping is free on orders over $75. It's a must-visit for physical collectors, anyone who wants to avoid duty and import taxes, niche gamers, cheap gamers and those who can't stand inflated eBay prices. Staff is quick to respond if you have various concern or like to swap out your order with another game of the same value. Highly recommended.

-- My order arrived with a tear in the cover art and support wouldnt help -- Looking at the photo attached this is a small tear, and if I had been buying a used game I really wouldnt mind. The issue is I was buying a new and sealed game. Like many customers here - im a collector - so I wasnt happy with my game having any damage. Heres what happened > I asked for an exchange and email support said that was possible... if I covered the shipping fee... > I complained and asked for a prepaid shipping label... support told me they don't supply prepaid labels... > I didnt like this customer service and asked for the issue to be escalated to a manager... since then I never got a response despite my email request for a follow up... In the end, should a customer pay for return shipping on a damaged product? In future I will choose to no longer shop games here and will buy from Amazon, EBgames, microplay or anywhere else instead - because while I cant get support, I can choose where I use my wallet and also leave a disappointed google review about my experience ---- UPDATE: I did get a response from management after a couple days. They were firm they will not cover return shipping. I stand by my 1 star review.

I have been going to this location for years. Joe and his staff are top-notch, super knowledgeable, especially in retro games and consoles! They go above and beyond to get you what you're after, and they have never let me down. I encourage you to check them out if you're looking for a video game store that listens to its patrons.

I absolutely love this place! The staff are knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about games, not just the current releases, but the history behind them too. It’s refreshing to walk into a shop where the people behind the counter actually know their stuff. The vibe feels more like a great vintage record store than a chain retailer. Show respect, and you’ll get it right back. Yes, some items are kept under lock and key, which can add a bit of time, but that’s completely understandable. Anyone familiar with the neighborhood would do the same, and it’s clear they take pride in protecting what they carry. And I have to mention Rocket, the shop dog. He’s an absolute treasure, friendly, curious, and full of joyful puppy energy. Despite what a few reviews suggest, he’s anything but “angry.” Meeting him honestly made my visit even better. If you’re looking for a shop run by people with real experience, deep knowledge, and genuine love for gaming culture, this is the place. I’ll happily keep coming back.

I go here every now and then to buy Pokemon cards after school. The staff here are really nice to me, and educate me well on stuff about video games that I'm unaware of. The dog here is really nice aswell, he's well-trained and hearing him bark really makes my day. :3 I bought Persona 5 Royal here for my friend recently, and it was in good shape and of good quality. It wasn't damaged. AND I PULLED A MEGA ABSOL EX FROM A MEGA EVOLUTION CARD PACK THERE!! absolute cinema, would recommend frfr
