VANCITY CJ NEW LOCATION

this is truly the best card shop I have ever went to by far in British Columbia. The hospitality in the shop the good pricing, and the kindness from the staff can be seen right away right when you walk in. On Wednesday, I got robbed out of my $350 card and even though the shop did not have to, vancity cards were quick to respond and help me look for the suspect. I wanted to share my experience as a somewhat new collector and business owner myself. In this day and age, customer service like this is almost obsolete. From the day i stepped into Vancity CJ, I could tell this was more than just another TCG store. You could tell they put a lot of detail and attention into the layout and displays along with the amount of different options throughout the store. Passion, this was the amount of passion the owners had put into it. Nicole walked me through the process and educated me on what she thought of TAG and why i am making the right choice. She was very insightful and friendly, definitely help put my worries at ease. I had started collecting Pokemon back in December of 2025 and had pulled my first big chase card in March of 2026 which was a Mega Gengar Ex SIR from Ascended Heroes. The first thing i was told to do by my friends was to get it graded as it was such a thrilling and amazing experience, after doing a bit of research i decided that TAG was the grading company that i would use to capsule this memory. TAG was the company i decided on because i believed that consistency and transparency was the number 1 thing in getting any certifications/grading and they do a great job of both. From start to finish, the process has been nothing but smooth. I admit i was very anxious being that this is my first submission but Vancity would always answer to my concerns and questions within the day. After 2 and a half months, i got the email that my card was ready for pick up! Thank you everyone at Vancity CJ for providing a welcoming and passionate environment for everyone in this hobby.

We visited the store today with my kids and it was an absolute joy. Nicole was so helpful and kind to my kids. I really appreciate it. I was so impressed with how she deals with everyone who comes into the store and her multitasking abilities. Even when the store would be busy she still manages to make sure to ask if you have any more questions. I really appreciate that. The store in general has a really welcoming and warm vibe. This is one of the best card shops around. They are kind and patient and double checked their prices were matching the current market. Special shout out to Douglas who was super kind to my kids and made them feel special. He never rushed them and treated them with respect. If you want people who genuinely love the hobby and care more about people than profit, go here!!!
