Treasure Chest Games

We had the pleasure of interacting with Ben when we were here. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. He pointed out items related to what we were talking about and we chatted about DnD, MtG, and Pokémon for about an hour. We spent over $200 and are quite pleased with our purchases. We will definitely go back when we are back in town.

Recently my pod and I have had terrible experiences with the customer service at the store. Keith himself is always a pleasure dealing with and honestly the only thing stopping me from rating the location a 1* but one of his customer service representatives especially is way too arrogant and lippy, to the point where I've actively heard him gossip about and ridicule customers to coworkers within earshot of the till over the most minor inconveniences. I really don't want to have to shop anywhere else because it's close to home, I prefer to support local, and treasure chest has always been my first stop for my MTG and TTRPG supplies but I refuse to put up with that kind of disrespectful behavior when I've been nothing but polite any time I've been in the store.

Had an excellent chat with the gentleman working the counter. He said he was the assistant manager, didn't catch his name, unfortunately. He was very knowledgable and answered all of my questions. Great experience, will definitely be returning!

You know it’s a bad business when they laugh about losing a repeat customer. I had made arrangements to buy something—one of the staff said yes, but the bigger guy was condescending and wouldn’t even haggle. Definitely not the way to treat customers. Thankfully, Showcase Comics is where it’s at—great service and a real appreciation for their customers

This is my favourite game store in town. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to look up card prices. Keith the owner is one of my favourite local business owners to shoot the breeze with. I consider this my home TCG. Love all the other stores in town but Treasure Chest is special. 👍❤️
