SCREEN FREE GAMES CALGARY

Resealed product: I bought some packs from their display boxes and opened them in another store with some of the staff, and we ended up having the packs impossible to open, some open with no resistance, cards in the pack out of order, and glue residue on the packs. I immediately took it back to the attention of the cashier who sold them to me, and I gave them my name and number to contact me and the cashier took pictures to document the potential resealed card packs. The cashier pulled the card box instantly from sale, but then told me their manager told them to put them back out. I went in multiple times to inquire about the issue with the packs and just was told it wasn't of their concern that the packs may be resealed. Stopped going here because I want to trust the product and the people I am buying from and not be told that they don't care.

I had an amazing experience shopping for card sleeves here! I was looking for something specific, and Darius went absolutely above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. He was incredibly knowledgeable and generous with his time, he even brought out his own personal magic decks to show me the tactile differences between the sleeves before buying. That kind of next level customer service is rare. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Haven’t been to this mall since moving to the other side of the city but stopped here to meet a friend. Happened to see this store as it was completely new to me and decided to pop in. Had a nice chat with Brandon and explained to him I was looking for a product that was sold out everywhere. He suggested I send an email to the contact on the back of their business card. From there I was in touch with Anthony who’s been super kind and helpful. These guys went above and beyond for me and I will definitely continue to shop here.

I popped by the mall this morning and had a fantastic conversation with the owner. He is incredibly friendly and we swapped some great game recommendations. The store is a small wedge near one of the entrances of the mall, but with a great selection of games. He also mentioned that they can quickly bring in items from their other stores if they don't have it in stock. Prices are very reasonable and in many ways can compete with online only sellers. With the fact that you can order online and set the store as your pickup spot for free (no shipping) I think I've found my go to place for new games. They were busy too. The store had just opened on a Thursday morning and the phone rang at least 3 times and another set of customers came in and bought 2 things. I didn't see what they bought, but overheard them say they were really excited to find it as it was sold out everywhere else. They also have a very active discord server although with a higher focus on TCGs/CCGs. I highly recommend stopping by and chatting with the owner (who's name I forgot to ask for) and checking out their store. I think there are some big things in the future for their game store(s). (They have a few locations in BC as well)

We bought Root and the Riverfolk expansion and we WILL be back to buy all our board games and expansions from here again. Staff were wonderful on the phone and in store and the products are kept in flawless condition. I'm incredibly happy we have a Screen Free Games in Calgary and I could not recommend this location enough.
