Stay far away, their online stock contains products listed that they refuse and refuse to sell in store, and told me they would cancel any orders that were made for those products, even though the products are literally sitting by the register. The staff explained that while they can technically sell them, they just don't want to, and won't be willing to until late august. The manager should really vet their staff better. Never coming back here, awful.

Really glad I heard about this place, it's giant! I was expecting an aisle or two but it just goes on and on with all sorts of hobby stuff. The person working there was super friendly and knowledgable, so going in knowing basically nothing, I was totally fine getting all sorts of model paints. Will for sure be back. Don't be scared of going into what looks like a condo building lobby, they're just down the stairs so it's easy to find once you go in the main doors.

This place feels like a shell of its former self. It seems like it has been on a bit of a downward trajectory since they installed those pinball machines in the back awhile ago (which has since been moved elsewhere). Meeplemart used to be my go to for things like board games, TCGs, Gunpla, Funko Pop, and so much more. I used to have stacks of orange bags at home because I bought so much from them and didn't have time to open everything. Even on days where I knew I had to hold back and not buy anything I loved coming in here and just browse because there was so much different things to see. But now... Not so much. I hadn't visited the store in a while so was excited when I needed some supplies and thought I'd come here. When I stepped into the store the vibe felt different. It used to always be busy with tons of people browsing and lineups of people waiting to pay or to drop off/pick up their bags from the counter. There used to be a large team of people fulfilling online orders and shelves and shelves of sales waiting to be picked up in store. The mailman used to come in here with a huge cart to pick up online orders and it would be filled to the brim. But now... Silence. Maybe I came at a bad time (though even the last few times I dropped by it was eerily quiet) but there was only one other customer besides me the entire time I was there. One staff manned the entire store. The mailman came in and was told there were no packages for him to pick up that day. The selection of board games seemed less plentiful. They have not carried any of the latest releases of TCGs I collect in a while. And the Gunpla... there were less than a handful of kits to choose from. Though they do carry more of other model kits aside from Gundams if that's your thing. The store seemed to have reverted back to when I first discovered this place as a board game and tabletop miniatures focused store as the entire section to the right of the entrance has become an area for wargaming again. Though again the board game section didn't seem as extensive as how I remembered it to be. Don't get me wrong, there still is a selection of products here just that they've really reduced their offerings on some categories. Seems like perhaps the owner is focusing their resources on the pinball arcade they opened and this place is no longer their priority which is a shame. All in all, I think it still is a worthwhile place to check out if you're into certain hobbies. Their prices have always been fair and service great.

This is quite the place... The sign is a little misleading outside as it is past the condo-looking entrance and down the stairs - look for the Warhammer 40,000 sign. There are games tables to the left and model terrain past the counter. All bags have to be left at the counter and you get a tag for your items. At the far left are the board games - clearance items on the left and plenty of selection in the aisles. There are some character figurines there along with Funko characters on the wall to the left when you enter. Reminds me of Mandarake in Japan (but not as dark).

A huge selection of board games and miniatures are available at this discreet store located in the basement of a building next to TD. It is definitely a must visit if you’re into the hobby or looking for your next game. They have also got a good sized discounted game selection. Due to its size, board games are organized in alphabetical order. If you have any bags, you must check them in at the cashier for safe keeping. Meeplemart is definitely one of my favourite shops in Toronto to visit to browse and purchase board games.
