Kingston Gaming NeXus

Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I frequent this shop often for my DM need, sometimes I can’t find books I am searching for but I enjoy my browsing time regardless.

Brian and the Nexus have been a well known hobby/comic store in the Kingston area for decades, and with good reason. A good sized store offering something for everyone, as well as always hosting some sort of tabletop event or comic artist/writer. Points to sustain; - Friendly and engaging staff - Massive selection - Massive gaming area Points to improve; - Noticeable mark-up

Nexus's showcases are WONDERFUL. They are always so kind and respectful when showcasing levels and even letting people trying them out by letting the id out to the public for everyone's use. Nexus is a OG of the OG of the community, coming out in 1999 before the game came! He was a great play tester beforehand and I hope he keeps completing impossible levels!

Always look forward to stopping by this underground gem to get my nerd on. As you can see, their paint supply is where I like to spend my money but I'm sure they have something you're interested in too!

Most of the staff very friendly and will continue to buy there and have, but one staff member (younger) made a scene after I made a $75-80 purchase and when I went back to look at a different issue. Not only did he yell at me (in front of customers) he also accused me of trying to steal, but also scolded me not to that again. Lol. I'm old enough to be the kid's grandfather and didn't appreciate the insinuation I was stealing.
