A team completely lost in their own pharmacy… Takes 1h to get basic pills… But employees are polite…

What kind of pharmacy refuses a consultation?? I’m removing my file from here and never coming back !! The worst service ever what a shame to be in this field and act this way.

Thank you so much to the Pharmacist who offered me help on December 23rd, 2025, around 5 pm. Sorry I forgot to ask for your name. I was visiting a friend in Brossard, when I realize one of my occasional just-in-case medication that I brought with me has expired. And of course by Murphy's Law, I needed to use that just-in-case medication. My friend brought me to the closest pharmacy, which is this Jean Coutu location. She hasn't used this Pharmacy before, so we were standing around figuring out which window to speak to, and the Pharmacist proactively reached out and ask if we needed help. When I explained my situation, he offered to contact my Pharmacy in Ontario to transfer that one prescription over, so that I can get it filled in this location ASAP. Another person then helped me open a file, take down the name of my medication and my Pharmacy's phone number, and told me they will message me when the medication is ready. I was grateful but was still worrying whether that process would be successful. But Voila! Next morning, they called me and told me the prescription is ready! I am so relieved and so happy! And I am also super grateful to the Pharmacist and the crew at this Jean Coutu who helped me out. Seeing there's so many bad reviews, I feel obligated to make sure I leave a positive review to express how grateful I am.

Not the normal PJC, service and smiles are tough to get. Do not expect to ealk-in the pharmacy an be able to talk to the pharmacist. Even the pharmacy technicians are sorry when you ask for a quick consultation. There is not much wait at the registry but if there is more than one person at the cash, they talk to each other no matter if you are there or not. Been there a few times, we just moved in we will look at alternatives pharmacy.

Absolutely terrible Jean Coutu, the worst I’ve ever been too. The area is a Caucasian neighbourhood, my sister and I both being brown girls were followed around the whole store as if we were going to steal and they kept calling over the intercom “assistance required in aisle….” Everytime we were in a new aisle. We walked through a few aisles to make sure it was always the aisle we were in. Once we realized what was happening we left everything we were going to buy and left the store and they followed us and waited at the door and continuously watched out to see what we were doing and where we were going. Truly disappointed.
