The truth is, this place used to be absolutely everything! It was my "place of joy" and a safe and inclusive space... I used to go there with friends and with my mom... This year I went after a volunteer shift with the Fringe festival and was super tired from the heat, so I came in to use the washroom first. I was shocked to see that the restrooms were now under lock and key... So, I had to go over and ask for a key, then go back to the washroom before being seated. The person waiting on me didn't ask me anything about my day, if I had any questions on the menu, just said "Do you know what you want?"... Later another member of the waitstaff ended up taking over for them and didn't really effectly explain there was a shift change and just said "are you ready for the bill?" Normally I would have spent, and had intended to spend at least a couple hundred dollars on board games in there but that's just... Not happening again... I also heard from someone else later in the day they had a similar experience recently and that they had booked a gathering with children and couldn't get anyone to assist with games. There are heaps of opportunities here for improvement... This space used to be magic... Now it's just... A place that makes you feel like you're taking up their time... The food is and always has been fantastic... So kudos to the kitchen, they will always be praised here... But seriously... Someone needs to get this place back into the gear of excitement and kindness that it once was, where when you came in you were greeted with exuberance and a passion for games... May be too late to win me back over, but for each and every kid that walks in, they deserve that excitement... And for goodness sake... Get rid of the dang locks on the bathrooms... I spent most of my meal watching the staff dealing with keys and watching folks get frustrated by that whole situation... (And yes, I'm aware of the reason you have opted for it in the first place)

Update: I ordered Strawberry Marshmallow Matcha Latte. It was really good but I order it iced. I mentioned it to them that it was wrong but they just offered me ice and a glass (like that would work though 😂😭) Great atmosphere and service. I asked for recommendations and she was very enthusiastic about her suggestions and asked questions along the way. Their seasonal latte was really good. It was balanced and doesn't overlap each components.

Thanks to the amazing staff for a super fun Halloween Trivia night! My friends and I had the best time! We are already eyeing their next trivia event and can’t wait to come back this month!

This place is a gem. People were laughing loudly and having a great time! There's a person who will explain games to you or recommend some if you want and the food and service were stellar. We had a fabulous time playing four games during 3 hours and got the hummus plate and serenity tea.

If you need a place to go out with friends, family, or a first date, this is the place to be! Their game selection is incredible, we were taught to play several games throughout the night, and we had fun playing every game recommended. The employees are helpful and such a delight. We also enjoyed delicious food and drink. It’s a very affordable night out, and such a fun atmosphere!
