I’ve been coming here regularly, and it’s always a great experience. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. They have a great selection of comics and collectibles, fair prices, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend this shop to any comic fan

This place has been like a second home to me since I was a child, one of the saddest things ever was when I moved away from Edmonton. Now , when I come back , I always stop in and I get to see you , the man with the mustache! he is kind, intelligent and very wise. When it comes to all things this store is one of my Holiest😇

Always have a good time here for events. Fun groups, great staff, prices are decent. Store is also pretty interesting, lots of cool and nostalgic stuff, with an interesting layout to the store, to say the least. If you haven't been here, definitely worth taking a look!

I’ve been coming here for over 8 years, and unfortunately not much has changed in that time—and not in a good way. The biggest issue is overall upkeep. There’s a noticeable layer of dust on a lot of items, including display cases, and large sections of the store feel cluttered or abandoned. There are areas that look like they used to serve a purpose (like old customer service sections) that are now just piles of long-forgotten inventory. It gives the impression that things are put out and then never maintained. The floors seem reasonably clean, and there aren’t any bad smells, but the general environment still feels grungy. Behind the counters (outside of the main card area), things are especially dusty and disorganized. Even the washroom, while technically clean, is tucked into a back area surrounded by storage and doesn’t feel well-kept. The staff aren’t rude, but they’re not particularly engaging either. I’ve never really been greeted when walking in, and interactions tend to feel like they’d rather you already know what you want, grab it, and leave. They’ll help if you ask, but it’s very neutral—no real effort to go above and beyond. Pricing is about what you’d expect for a hobby store. Singles are usually around market value, but their buy/trade rates are pretty rough (around 70% store credit or 30–40% cash). One upside is that some older items still have outdated pricing, so you might occasionally find a deal—but it works both ways, since some things are priced higher than their current value. Inventory is a mixed bag. There’s a ton of stuff—everything from brand new products to 20+ year old figures—but it feels randomly organized and sometimes neglected. The card section is the most consistent and reliable part of the store, especially for MTG. Display cases, however, are cluttered and very dusty. They do run events (like Friday Night Magic), and there’s a dedicated play area, which is a plus. The atmosphere isn’t toxic or unwelcoming—it’s just kind of… there. Not much energy or sense of community, but not bad either. At the end of the day, I still come back because they carry a wide variety of items, especially Magic cards and comics, and sometimes they’ll have something you can’t find elsewhere. But compared to other local shops like Red Claw Gaming or Warp 2, which are much cleaner and more organized, this place feels overdue for a serious refresh. A deep clean, better organization, and more engaged customer service would go a long way in improving the experience.
