THE DRAGON

This is a gorgeous store full of wonderful surprises. I use a wheelchair to get around and the store is so well laid out and I never had to worry about running into anything. Such a great visit!

Nice little comic book store with plenty of tables to game on. Walked in with my friend and the tables were full of people playing magic. I love magic, but actually came to the store specifically to look for singles. Unfortunately they do not carry those, but excellent sealed products and comics!

The highlight is the staff and customer service. Quick to respond and have always felt taken care of. Feels like the staff are willing to go the extra mile to help you out and find what you are looking for. Everyone also feels genuinely interested/knowledgeable about the products offered.

I’ve loved this store for a good while! I’ve been visiting it for years. For a while, my main complaint is that the store never had comic back issues to pick through which they have since implemented. However, I will say that The Dragon tends to drastically overprice their back issues. For example, they’ve recently added a bunch of Amazing Spider-Man issues which are nearly 3x their fair market value and not even the condition on these books would warrant such a price hike. These egregious prices are predatory to new collectors who don’t really know any better and also just hurts the hobby itself. I really like coming here and I love what this store can offer to the community of guelph. it’s just things like this that tend to be a bit discouraging. Moving forward, I don’t think I’ll be paying much attention to their back issues as most other comic book stores will offer these back issue books at a lower price. I’m sure this’ll probably be written off without any meaningful changes like other reviews that comment on their prices but I guess that’s just how it goes.

This is a fantastic comic/games store. As a fellow LGS owner, it's always nice to walk into a brightly lit and extremely tidy store. The staff also gave some excellent recommendations for some great graphic novels for not just me, but for my young nieces and nephews too! Can't wait to visit again.
