Best comic bookstore around. The workers are very friendly, The owner is one of the nicest guys out there. And their selection of goods is absolutely amazing. You guys rock!!!

Really appreciate the people that run the store. There seemed to have been some sort of miscommunication a few months back when pausing my subscription before leaving town. They could have very well been in their right to keep the deposit when I came in to cancel it seeing how many comics ended up in my sub box but they gave me a full refund of my deposit. I really appreciate that and the people that run this store have always been super helpful and nice. Definitely recommend and if I ever move back to Ottawa I'll for sure make them my #1 comic store to do business with.

Haven’t been to the Comic Book Shoppe since I was a kid with fond memories of Free Comic Book Day. Now that I’m back in the city visiting my folks I popped over due to a renewed interest as an adult in anime/comics and was wowed at their selection—triple of my local shop in BC. Friendly staff, easy to navigate store even during the busy Christmas rush, and really reasonable prices for figures from Bandai and Pop Up Parade. Walked out with a new manga series to try and a figure on my wishlist! Will definitely be stopping in each visit to Ottawa from now on.

Accessibility: Very manageable. No automatic entry door that I saw, but aisles have good spacing. I am unsure if there is a washroom. A fun comic book store with plenty to offer. They had a couple puzzles, lots of comic books, a good selection of cards, and figurines. Staff was friendly and available, and not overbearing whatsoever. They remember frequent customers. There were patrons of all ages. This place is definitely worth a look if you are a collector, or looking for something new.

Yesterday was a day I needed to take (today too off)… I work in a stressful environment and have to deal with all sorts of people… so comic book collecting has become my relaxing get my mind off of daily life challenges haha This store is AMAZING! 45 minutes before closing wasn’t enough… since I had a good rest today in a Best Western Plus and took the decision to take the day off… I might just have to come back! My paintball business and restaurant is about 2-3h drive from there in Quebec… so thanks to the kindness of the staff and owner Steeve (or Steeven, not 100% sure)… I will be back!
