Studio Staja

I drop by Staja regularly for Magic night and the occasional workshop and I couldn’t recommend a better place for games and events. With service and board games in both English and French, it’s a welcoming and inclusive environment that already feels like a little pillar in the community despite the short time they’ve been around.

It's an amazing place with a wonderful atmosphere! As someone who appreciates vegan options, I was thrilled to find that all their bakery items are vegan. The owners and staff are incredibly nice and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. They offer free game time on certain days as well. Their collection of games is impressive, and the staff does a great job explaining how to play them. Additionally, they have a great selection of drinks and teas. It's a very kid-friendly environment, and the owners are kind and generous. Highly recommend visiting Studio Staja for a fun and enjoyable experience!

A gem location in Lowertown! The product selection is great. Coffee is divine. The D&D lessons are great and very well taught by a very patient and talented individual. I highly suggest giving this place a visit!

Went to a social event there and had a great time. Owners were very friendly. They have drinks and snacks available as well at reasonable prices, and also free play space to use.

Updated review 10 months later - was in Ottawa last week and preordered from their online boutique the game Wavelength for pickup at the store. It was all ready for me. Friendly efficient service. - - - - - Delightful coffee/tea shop with local plant based pastries. Main floor has lovely local craft and products and games/game paraphernalia for sale. Second floor has several tables to play games and local art for sale.
