Rain City Games - New West

So many great games to choose from and really great service! Staff were very helpful and willing to provide information about games. There was a big group playing a game at the tables which was cool to see!

5★ for Garret at Rain City Games! Garret was awesome with me and my son. Super patient, friendly, and actually took the time to guide us to the right Pokémon cards for what we wanted. Made the whole experience fun and easy. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Garret!

Board games are way too expensive here. They often sell games 20-30% above MSRP. I'm happy the store exists and I'd prefer to support my local game store, but it's literally cheaper to buy and pay to have the game shipped from Ontario. Even London Drugs has better prices on occasion (e.g., Flip 7 as of posting this review - $11.99 vs. $14.99). For reference, the MSRP of Flip 7 is ~11.25 CAD.

The store is on the smaller side, but they had a great balance of games to choose from. We saw a lot of our favourites there and found the games we were looking for at a reasonable price. Their online inventory was accurate for what we were looking to find, which I always appreciate. we are typically looking for specific games when we are shopping, so it is great to know they are there before you head out.

Didn't buy anything today but did look around. This shop sells all sorts of board games and card games and gaming memorabilia. I had no idea there was a "Hello Kitty" version of the classic Monopoly! Lots of merchandise that is neatly organized and displayed. Looks like fun.
