Any items that have a red sticker indicating a sale price do not ring up at the register as said sale price. For instance the Burago Ferrari Race & Play Die-Cast 1/24 and 1/18 models. It rang up at $29.95 instead of the red sticker of $24.95. The cashier just won't oh "I guess it wasn't stickered properly" or "wasn't removed when it should have." Any normal store would honor the price on the item regardless of what the register came up as. Not here, because they are scamming customers. Now reading through the other reviews here, I see I'm not alone in experiencing this. And this isn't just the Peterborough location. The Oshawa Centre location is full of the same reviews of red stickered items not being honored. Mind Games is a scam company, and should be avoided completely.

Purchased a game for my kids. The young man (I can’t remember his name, but had a beard and longer hair), was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly.

For my sons birthday he wanted to purchase some pokemon cards. We ended up going to mind games and he choose the ascending heroes pin collection pack that they have there. He pulled a gold charizard y ex. It's in perfect shape so we sent it to get graded right away. Hoping he has a psa 10. We have one happy boy that's for sure. Thanks mind games.

I was honestly shocked by the Pokémon pricing at Mind Games. Some of the exact same products are literally being sold at Walmart and EB Games for a THIRD of the price. As customers and collectors, we’re constantly being told not to support scalpers because inflated pricing ruins the hobby. But now retail stores are doing the exact same thing. Stores with distributor access should be selling closer to MSRP, not charging reseller prices higher than some scalpers online. At the end of the day, this hobby is supposed to be fun and accessible, especially for kids and families. Parents already struggle enough without retail stores making Pokémon completely unaffordable.

Came in to buy pokemon cards. Stuff i can buy online for $79 is $179 in the store. As well as everything else on the shelf being 150% mark up in value. Didnt think retail stores are scalping, but appears they are. Will never go back.
