Manta Trading

Manta rays are massive, highly intelligent filter-feeding fish that glide through tropical and subtropical oceans with a wingspan reaching up to 7 to 9 meters. In comparison, Manta Trading is full of normal sized, extremely intelligent and reliable staff that help you navigate through the modern TCG jungle and find you the cards you need at very reasonable prices. One of the best card gaming communities for sure, it's filled with literal World Champions and contenders but doesn't feel gross and sweaty like other stores, and people are always very nice and welcoming to new players and collectors.

One of the best (if not the best) trading card stores I’ve ever been to. Lots of space for tournaments, very generous selection of pokemon cards (singles, sealed and bulk), and a very friendly and knowledgeable team behind the counter to help with anything you might need. Although their main focus is on the Pokémon TCG, they also sell sealed products and host tournaments for a variety of other tcg, such as Gundam, One Piece, Riftbound, Flesh and Blood, and are even looking to expand into Palworld. A must visit for anyone looking to play or collect TCG, especially pokemon!

staff were very helpful and friendly! i came mostly to look for cards for a pokemon specific master set and they were quick to help me look for missing cards/go through their bulk for me and chat with me about my binder. store seems to have a great community, lots of people playing at the tables the night i came by. will definitely return in the future and look into joining their vgc events!

Had sushi here today and saw a hobby store and decided to go inside. Heard great things about Manta before. Went in and saw these had a wide selection and picked out a pack. Prices are also reasonably priced as well. The sales Angelo helped check me out and he was very knowledgeable. A great experience and highly recommend to all my fellow collectors ☺️

Really nice shop and well organized. One of the staff (Claire) helped me with my order. Very professional and patient. Worth the trip to Markham!
