Lords of War Games and Hobbies

It is always a pleasure to visit this well stocked and clean shoppe which is owned and operated by two of the nicest guys that are just full of war game and hobby knowledge. The painting station is top notch; a new addition since my last visit (which was far too long ago). They also carry a great selection of hobby brushes, quality hobby tools and hobby paints, including specialist paint sets and ink sets that I have never seen before. I look forward to visiting again so that I may look these over more thoroughly.

The staff are so nice and knowledgable! I drove in from Cambridge to get Airbrush advice as I am a newb at this. They walked me through the options, pros and cons. Chris offered a free lesson with the airbrush too! I still need to book that. I splurged and got a really nice Harder and Steenbeck Giraldez INFINITY CRplus MkII and feel more confident in the purchase knowing these guys are here to help rather than dealing with some faceless online store. While there I browsed the store and was impressed at the selection of painting supplies as that was my main purpose of visiting. While there I heard a staff member offering to coach someone through learning Warhammer! It isn't around the corner for me but will be well worth the occasional visit!

I found this place while travelling and suffering a desperate need for hobby supplies. SUPPOSEDLY they sell Warhammer supplies. Yet, what should I find upon arrival but a total dearth of filament spools, bottles of resin, or even cool plates or replacement screens!! Fie on it!! Fie!! Very nice atmosphere and patrons enjoying a social painting experience. Great selection of _commercially_printed_(!!) models, and friendly staff. (Edited for updated verbiage)

This store is a one stop shop for me. One of the best selection of paints and hobby accessories. They owner is very friendly and helpful. If you have any grey plastic, Lords of War has pretty much all you want.

I stopped in to swap a standard part for an alternative for my Harder & Steenbeck airbrush, and was immediately enthusiasticly greeted and helped. The gentleman working there made sure the part would fit on a copy of the airbrush they had there, and even pointed out the intricacies of the part. While I did a quick tour of the store, I saw others coming in were treated to the same welcoming and helpful service. Upon checking out, he made sure to seal the bag so I didn't lose the tiny part, and insisted I take the receipt as he said they'd gladly troubleshoot and make things right if for whatever reason the part didn't work for me. They also have quite the selection of fairly priced model paint given the size of the store, so I'll definitely be back!
