Swung by on my way home to pick up a few packs of MTG. I intentionally picked a set (Duskmourn) that I saw earlier was on a flash sale on their website (and I just confirmed it still shows that currently too). But I was charged the higher, non-sale price. I didn't notice the overcharge until later on, since the receipt they give you isn't itemized. I think I observed the guy rechecking the tagged price and manually re-adjusting it on the computer too. I'm not sure if that was just an honest checkout mistake, an accuracy issue with their website, or if it was something more nefarious like the boss instructing their employees to make point-of-sale tweaks when they think they can get away with it unnoticed. I've seen enough other sneaky vendors pull things like that that I'm not gonna rule it out. And to be frank, the reason doesn't really matter; even if it was only a difference of a few bucks it has still left a pretty awful taste in my mouth, and has me strongly reconsidering if I should even continue to be a customer. There are just too many competitors out there to have to put up with nonsense like this. It's a shame because prior to this my experiences here have been mostly positive. Some other info for the sake of a more thorough review (all of this pertains to MTG, I can't really speak for other games): - Their sealed selection is actually very good. Better than you'll find at most other stores, for both current and older stuff. And the pricing is usually pretty good as well. You can find some great deals. I guess you just have to be sure to be watchful, know approximately what your total should be, and double check it at checkput to avoid an experience like mine. - The store setup is a bit weird, with a lot of their sealed product being set way far back like 10+ feet behind the counter. So it's hard to read a lot of the price tags even with good eyesight. Plenty of the products have no price sticker at all (same goes for their singles display case) so you have to ask or check on the website. - For singles, the selection seems just okay. If you're looking for something specific it's a crapshoot what will be sold out vs in stock. The pricing is pretty high to very high though, generally not really worth it IMO unless you're desperate. - Their website search&display interfaces are rather clunky to use. But it's the same system being used by a lot of other stores so I guess it's a wash there. The actual orders I've placed through the site went through without any hitch in the checkout process. I can't comment on shipping, I've only ever done in-person pickup orders. - Supposedly they run regularly scheduled events here but I've been there maybe 8-10 times by now and it has always been dead/empty.

Took the fam there last Sunday about 45min before closing, and the staff couldn't have been better. Enjoyed talking OP with Josh and the kids were thrilled when Chris gave them a little colouring folder before leaving. S/O to Thomas as well, did not get to chat cause he was busy doing his thing. Highly recommend checking out this store. Amazing TCG selection and awesome staff!

Honestly they are pretty good but they have some aversion to Canada Post so you get stuck with dragonfly garbage delivery service. Instead of placing my package in the secure lockers they simply dropped it on the floor in the mail room, I am not there at the moment so it will probably get stolen or destroyed. Time to use a normal delivery service please for the love of god. Here is the photo they sent.

Visited their booth on both days I was at the card show. Their staff were warm and welcoming and they made me very fair offers on all the cards I was looking to sell. They will always be my first stop at card shows going forward and I'm looking forward to visiting them in store as well. Highly recommend.

Disrespectful and unwelcoming staff! I’ve visited the store and ordered online from them, so I’m confident this review is as authentic as it gets. I recently visited their booth at a card show, and honestly, that’s what pushed me to write this review. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a card show before. I was inquiring about a card in the $3K range and made a reasonable market offer. They declined, which is fine but the attitude from one staff member was uncalled for and disrespectful. I ended up getting the same card two tables down. At this point, I’d rather pay double the price than buy from them again. Overall, all the staff seem to have an ego and won’t even negotiate. They’ll almost always make a rude comment. I also haven’t heard anything positive about them from others. On top of that, I ordered cards online that were listed as NM, which was false when they arrived, they had scratches all over them 🤠
