Hobby Hoard Tabletop Gaming began not as a business plan, but as a promise to keep something alive. When the owner of Cornwall Gaming faced a health issue and could no longer run the store, JR who was working there and knew the community it served was offered the chance to take it over. After talking it through with his wife and friends, they took the leap tpgether, and Hobby Hoard was born as a continuation of that legacy. Today, we're proud to be the only tabletop game store in Cornwall, Ontario and one of the few "third places" in town that isn't a bar. It's a space where people can gather and belong, whether they're pulling up a chair for a weeknight game, discovering their first board game as a family, or drafting Lorcana with friends. Community drives everything we do. We plan to regularly partner with local charities to host fundraising events, because for us, gaming has always been about more than what's on the table, it's about the people gathered around it. As Cornwall's only dedicated tabletop store, we don't just sell games, we help build the community that plays them.
