The Hexagon Board Game Cafe on Whyte Ave is easily one of the best spots in the area! The atmosphere is super welcoming, and they have an unbelievable selection of games to choose from. The food was surprisingly great for a board game cafe—everything was hot, fresh, and delicious, making it way too easy to stay for hours. On top of that, the staff was incredibly helpful. They were warm, attentive, and even took the time to help us pick out a fantastic new game and explain the rules so we could jump right in. Five stars all around. Whether you're a seasoned tabletop gamer or just looking for a fun night out with friends, this place is a must-visit!

Wow, I went here not too long ago and was so surprised at how comforting the atmosphere was, and how good the customer service was too. I was diagnosed with a learning disability at a young age and have a really hard time understanding board games. However, Kylie made me feel much better at understanding instructions! She is TOP TIER at explaining game mechanics. 10/10 would recommend. Great game recommendations too

I love coming to this Board Game Cafe because the variety of games to play is literally endless my favorite thing to order is the London Fog creme brulee, it's delicious. This is my number one Board Game Cafe I go to.

We went on a Sunday and it was quite busy, the good thing is that parking on Whyte Ave on a Sunday is cheap. You pay about $5/person/hour of game time and they ask that you purchase at least one drink or food item, which is reasonable. The atmosphere was lovely but you could still hear the people you came with. Lots of board games to choose from but they aren't sorted in any particular way, which i would say is probably something they could do to help finding games easier. We had nachos and 2 drinks and they were good. Nachos were hot, drinks were cold. Staff was very friendly, even said they could help us figure out the game we had selected if we needed help. Definitely a nice place to go for a date.

I love these board game cafes! $4.50 p/p/hr to play from their large collection and you need to get something from the menu. Very friendly staff and the vibe really builds as it gets later and more and more games start up around you.
