I’m sorry to have to say this but to see the owner of great white toys Prince George who I have spoken with on numerous occasions and know who he is, was in Costco with a full flat deck of Pokemon cards that were on sale, only to see them marked up crazy at the store! Theres no excuse! You’re a scalper! It’s people like you that bring a bad name to the hobby! Good job! Let me guess it’s the MSRP? Right. Don’t shop for Pokemon cards there unless you want to be ripped off!

I went here to buy pokemon after earning money, as of becuase im a kid. I wanted a pokemon booster bundle, they had put the price tag on the bottom of the box, which meant i couldn't see the pricing. For one booster box that had 4 packs in it, 200$. I ended up buying a cheaper box (perfect order) it was 70$. I had also wanted the zekrom card, the worker when he grabbed it, grabbed it so tight that the card bent in half, so now it has a big crease and is bent like crazy. The workers when I asked for sonething other than the 200 box, they had scoffed, mumbled under their breath and than scanned the expensive box after I told them not to. Also a little deer figure, around maybe 2 inch tall, looks like you can touch it and would break, Costs 30$. I went to the dollorama next door, and got the same one, for 2$, in better condition, same exact deer. Over all horrible place

Great selection, but lately it’s just been getting pretty crazy with the prices. We went to look at some Lego sets, which were $350 in stock on Lego.com, yet they were listed for a 20% markup before tax ($419) at Great White. I’d love to support local but no other stores try to sell Lego sets above MSRP, especially when they aren’t back ordered. I’d love to shop here more often because the selection is great and the staff are friendly and helpful, but the prices are really inflated on almost everything.

We love this store and all it has to offer, however, on a recent trip to the store while on vacation, we felt very stereotyped and frustrated with our experience. We walked in the door and were greeted by a young man who asked us if we needed help. We didn't and politely declined his help. While browsing the store for a few minutes, this young man walked by, obviously watching us. A minute later, her walks by again. With a few minutes, again. I eventually said out something out loud and he waited a few minutes before walking by again. My partner had to go wait at the front of the store where he complained to the manager and told her to teach her staff to read the room. For context, we are Indigenous, well dressed, with well paying jobs. Our son was with us wanting to spend his hard earned money. There were other non-Indigenous people in the store who this young man was not watching. We bought 2 items as we felt so uncomfortable with the whole situation. The cashier, also a young Indigenous woman, apologized profusely. We told her we do understand they probably have a huge theft rate, but that stafd should be trained better on recognizing potential theirs and not stereotyping certain groups. I am not sure if we will ever go back to this store after that experience the next time we are in PG.

I have been here couple times with my kid. The staffs are friendly and if you are looking for some toys or even gifts for kids this place is great. Sometimes it is worth taking a look. Kindly staff.
