Purchased order on website, arranged for in store pick up when travelling. Always my destination shop for MTG in Lake of the woods. Excellent customer service, friendliest (and deadliest) pods ready to throw down. Beginner friendly for just about any Fandom (if you don't believe me mention your favorite WWE superstar..... enjoy the shenanagins). When the sign says open, theyre open for more than business, its open arms, open hearts and open minds. Inclusive, safe, accepting and family friendly. Will always make a point to stop by!

Great Canadian collectables in kenora!! Biggest scammer ever, rips everyone he buys stuff from off!! He takes 50% of “total value” then sells everything for way more. Beats around the bush and can’t find or has misplaced itemized pricing and his listings of said bought items, so you cant actually see any prices or totals to make sure he’s not screwing you out of any money, and then threatens lawyers when you ask for stuff back and to return what was paid out because you’ve called him out for ripping you off and it not being fair.

A friendly store with kind staff, and tons of unique things for fans of various types of games. If you need figures, sleeves for cards, nerdy books, or board game related items, I would highly recommend coming here. However, if you're looking to make a sale, I would highly recommend going anywhere else. After a lengthy two and a half weeks filled with a lack of communication, and multiple promises to finish a sale on a certain day that ended up broken, I ended up getting the short end of the stick. In an attempt to sell some excess Pokemon cards, worth roughly $200-$250, the owner offered me a measly $90, taking a 50% cut for the sale, and effectively giving me a pitiful $10 per card "deal". I understand needing to make a profit, but a 50% cut after such poor communication is inexcusable. On top of that, some of the sleeves I left the cards in were taken. To reiterate: If you need to buy something, it's a good place! But do not come here looking to make a sale of any type.

*****PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT***** *****Great Canadian Collectables in Kenora, Ontario***** *****DO NOT TRUST JOSH***** I recently listed a Large lot of 110+ Transformers for sale on some FB groups. I was looking for a business or auction house to buy the lot to resell. Josh made me an offer, but once I said I would accept his offer and then asked when he could come pick it up or if he wanted it shipped. I was ghosted. For 5 days he kept saying he couldn't talk or was busy. He refused to communicate with me and wouldn't let me know how he wanted to proceed. After numerous requests for him to let me know how he wanted to proceed. He refused to respond. So I`ll be relisting the lot. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with GCC? Is playing games Josh`s usual behavior?

A friendly owner, a popular place for local card and game players, and a great selection of games and dice and cards and rare collectables. This place is worth a visit. If you're looking for something particular, then a great place to start that search. If you're looking to play some games, it's a great place to meet people. This is a valuable local business that improves the livibility of the community.
