I recently purchased something from this shop and had a bad experience. I will be avoiding them in the future and wanted to share my experience so others could make an informed decision as well. In short, they have non-existent customer experience and don't take care of their customers. My two issues were as follows: 1. I tried to buy two ETBs and they cancelled one saying it's max one per order. However, that wasn't written anywhere on the product page. To their benefit, they kept the free shipping. 2. The ETB came with a bit of cosmetic damage, which is unfortunate because I wanted it for my sealed collection. And to be clear, the product was not advertised as having any damage or being LP, etc. The outer plastic was fine, but the ETB sleeve had a tear, like someone held it too tight from the side. I emailed them saying I got a damaged product and they told me that cosmetic damage is not their problem. In an industry where cosmetic damage impacts the value and desirability of a product, they took absolutely no accountability and left me hanging. That's absurd for an LCS imo. I would've been thrilled with some accountability and a tiny discount or credit, but got nothing. Attached is their reply to me.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! TRUST THE OTHER BAD COMMENTS!!! I never leave bad comments but my experience here was horrible. It was my first time visiting this Game Shack store and if only I can give negative stars, I would promptly do so. The guy working here last Friday was rude for a simple question! He looks like he is not happy with what he is doing and he looks like he hate customers for someone who works in a customer service. He belittle his customers the way he answer questions, redirecting conversations to low key shame customers! It’s not about he is nice to whoever is nice to him. I asked politely, he responded disrespectfully.

My son and i recently started getting into pokemon together. We came across this shop after hockey practice and have been checkin in from time to time for yugioh and pokemon packs. This weekend to reward my son for some great on ice effort we stopped by to look for some packs and a Pokemon pre-release event was taking place. I have never actually played the game but the employee behind the counter did a great job encouraging us to give it a try. We agreed after some thought and it quickly became the highlight of our week. The employees and other attendees made sure to show the utmost patience in teaching us the ropes and making sure we enjoyed our experience. At no point did we feel like a burden to any of the more season players and the shop employee continued to check in on us. They even provided my son with some goodies to take home for continued play. He has been talking about the experience ever since. I want to sincerely thank the employee for all that she did and let her know that she started a new part of the hobby for us. We look forward to coming back and enjoying the experience again.

Their prices on MTG cards are kinda weird. For example, they are selling $8 play boosters for $12. But then offering a buy 2 get 1 offer. If you planned to buy 3 packs, it's effectively the same price but I don't appreciate their marketing strategy.

Ordered a couple games for local delivery. The items were well-priced and competitive. The delivery was prompt and the box was well packaged. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed to see that one of the games received was not in shrink wrap and the box had visible scuff marks and what appears to be white stickers covering other box damage. The item was labelled as new - It was not open box or minor damage. I’ve emailed the store and are awaiting their reply. I want to make it clear that I’m not looking for a refund or to get any money back. Just to provide some feedback for the store to consider marking these down slightly in the future and selling as “minor box damage” as many of their competitors do. This minor detail aside, I’m otherwise satisfied with the purchasing experience and would consider purchasing from this store again the future.
