Exor Games Truro

Great store. Really great selection of stuff. Rivalled some spots in Halifax for variety.

Don’t sell here.

Honestly I would avoid at all costs, the shop is ran by people who run the pawnshop next door and heard they could make a quick buck off of people buying cards. I understood the growing pains when it was still a section in the pawn shop but I recently gave it another attempt after almost a year later and it still is not any better, I enter the shop, no greeting or anyone at the counter ( because they are all in the pawn shop ) I take a look around and notice its mostly extra stock from the other Exor Games shops rather than stock ordered for the store. Only after a few minutes at the counter does someone notice a person is in the shop and comes over, where I ask if they can order in a box for me. This turned to be the most painful experience I've seen in a while where I needed to spell out simple words and repeat myself multiple times but he says they will order it. Its been over a month and I have yet to hear back from the shop and I doubt they ordered it. Before leaving I asked a quick question about if there was much of a community for the game I was looking around getting into, where he just replied "I'm the wrong guy to ask" then.... didn't bother to ask the 4 guys in the back room they share with the pawn shop I could clearly see behind him. I understand not being into the scene and I can excuse it but this shop was the one time I felt I was inconveniencing the workers for asking simple questions rather than buying the latest MTG pack.

Played in a pre-release while visiting the area in the summer of 2024. The crowd and staff were friendly and welcoming, there was a nice clean, comfortable, organized play space, and a nice bathroom to boot. They were very open about the fact that some of the nuts and bolts of the actual shop were still a work in progress. That being said there's a solid selection of products and singles for MtG, Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon. I was very impressed and excited to see what the future holds for this place!

Stopped by on a trip from Alberta. Didn't expect to find a TCG play space located in the heart of Truro. Highly recommend any local players who have been tempted to finally just GO! Flesh and Blood nights are Tuesday and Thursdays. Check them out for some free decks and great players for game introduction. If Magic is you game, I hear this place is a popular spot. It's attached to the Most Wanted shop, to the left, pull the door to open. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS. SHOW UP. GAMES ARE WAITING! Cheers to the FaB players!
