Enter the Battlefield Oakville

I know this is more of a trading card store, but I stopped by looking for comics and was honestly blown away by the variety! I found so many comics that I couldn’t find anywhere else, and I’m already planning on coming back most weeks just to chill, browse, and see what new things they have. The environment is genuinely so welcoming and makes you feel right at home. I happened to visit during a One Piece event, and even with everything going on, I still felt completely welcomed and excited to look around at all the comics and other cool stuff. Definitely a new favourite spot.

Very nice environment however my recent visit was disappointing. They have cards sorted by set but when I asked they told me to look for them on their website. I proceeded to do so and added them to cart. When i approached the same employee, he told me i must checkout on the website because its easier for him. This involved entering a bunch of irrelivant information. I was willing to pay over market but not willing to jump thru hoops to do so.

I am on vacation, and googled local TCG Stores (because who doesn't look for cool stores while on vacation!). Before this, I had been rather disappointed since I arrived in Canada (stores had little product, or were very expensive). I found this store and took a trip over. This store is delightful. Lots of all sorts of products (including a very enticing box of Double Masters 2020), sealed and singles. I looked through their inventory for what I wanted (Edge of Eternities borderless lands) and found two. While I was there, I started chatting with a couple gentlemen opening new product, one of them ended up being the owner. Upon hearing what I was looking for, he dashed to the back, brought out boxes of borderless lands and found some more of the lands I was looking for! They let me know commander night was on Tuesday and Friday (alas I was here for neither), but whatever was happening on Wednesday Night was packed! If you are looking for a store in this area, look no further. Events are packed, cool sealed product, and a great singles selection. This would be my hometown shop if I lived near here!

I had a really lovely experience at Enter The Battlefield last night. I'm pretty new to Pokemon card collection, but I've been trying to complete a Pokemon 151 master set, so I went in with my brother to try to get some singles to fill out my collection. The team member in the Pokemon area informed me they don't have binders to look through for singles - I guess usually they're requested online in advance - but they saw I had a checklist I was working off of and totally leaned in to help me. They went through multiple boxes, looking over my checklist to help me get as many missing cards as possible, and even asked my preference between regular or reverse holo, and then proceeded to try to find the kind I liked in each card where that style was available. We checked off my list together and I ended up getting 17 of the 20 I was missing! When we did a final once over, they even put all the cards in order in the little plastic sleeve so when I got home to put them in my binder they were already in order 🥲. I've only been to this shop twice, but both times I've really been wowed by both how nice the store itself is and the friendliness and helpfulness of the team. Thank you for helping me so much with my collection!

Amazing prices and don't allow online pre order so you have a chance to actually get stock in store and not get bought out by resellers. Played prerelease here for Avatar MTG set - spacious, clean, organized, and female-friendly. The staff and attendees were all so friendly. They have free menstrual products in the bathrooms which I've never seen at a gaming shop, so accommodating. Snacks and pop for sale as well for longer game times.
