I was In town from Waterloo and I saw such great reviews about this store. However, for the most part I would have to agree with previous posts except for near the end. This store had a great stock of $1 books, some bagged, some bag and boards and some unprotected which is totally cool. I had my arm in a sling and I was trying to fill a box to qualify for the box special they have. It was near closing time and as a struggled to fill up i ran out of time and brought up the box 8/10 full so I asked if I could just grab a stack to fill the box the box employee said no but I asked politely again reinforcing that I had driven over an hour and chose their store to visit and I made it clear that I was just trying to fill the box to get the special and I was not going to search through the boxes to choose. The employee very rudely and condescendingly to me and I am a am over 50 and this employee was not. So I walked the 20 feet and with one hand grabbed a bunch to fill the box which took maybe 10 Seconds. Instead this employee tried to make me buy each comic individually. I asked him if I filled the box would I get the special and he said yes and then proceeded to take out the books and claim the side panel was down so i asked him to put the books in and he did and I asked if I get the special and he finally relented but not without very rudely speaking down to me again saying that when he says something I need to listen to him. T h e other staff were warm welcoming and engaging I all other interactions especially the gentleman in the $1 room who even offered to give me a bunch of bad and. Boards for free to place the unbagged books in. But based on the person in the front comic book area I would be very hesitant to recommend this store. Maybe he was having a bad day but he would definitely benefit from taking a course in public relations and how to treat paying customers instead of driving them away. I have been to stores from London to Toronto and will continue to visit stores that are warm and engaging, with staff who know how to treat customers respectfully. I just had a great conversation with one of the owners named (John). Based on this conversation I would visit this store again especially the $1 boxes along with taking advantages of the $75 box deal. That deal is a steal in reference to some of the cool titles that they have in them and the sheer number of them in total . You could spend days going through the selection. As I mentioned earlier that I have visited dozens of stores in southern Ontario but this one has the best selection of $1 level books along with the. Great selection of “key” graded books. I could go on but the staff overall are great and I am not letting a bad experience with one staff member affect future visits based upon the conversation that I had with management. Thanks for your time team and Collectors should visit this diamond in the rough

I got a really awesome line-up of nostalgic cards for a good price! I don’t know anything about grading, but I’ve been missing my old childhood collection for a while now. Though I can’t re-obtain my old cards verbatim, I was able to collect some that I loved. To the person who I wasn’t able to pick up the last card from — sorry I had to leave early! But thank you so much for being so attentive and welcoming.

I had a wonderful experience at Dungeon comics, it was like walking into one of the comic stores on the set of Big Bang theory lol. It's all so colourful and has lots to choose from, beautiful murals of superheros, tons of variety for comics and vintage issues, plus the staff is very friendly and helpful. 10/10

Only ever dealt with these guys through their eBay page but they’ve been great. Fantastic and affordable shipping and a great selection of back issues and variant covers. They’re a really good shop and I’ve used them on multiple occasions to get back issues I couldn’t find in downtown Toronto. Thanks in particular to Logan to help remedy a shipping mistake I made on an eBay purchase. Love supporting local comic shops and these folks have been great.

I just got back into collecting Pokemon again and got super lucky with a pull. I’ve been contemplating sending it in to get graded but I’m completely unaware of the process, costs, return times, everything up to and including “which cards should I even bother sending in?”. John from Dungeon Comics & Cards was very kind to explain the whole process to me and even took the time to sit down with me to go through my stack of cards so he can give me his feedback on what’s potentially good enough to warrant being graded - we must’ve been sitting for 30-45 minutes going through all of them. Grading knowledge and help aside, their prices are the most fair I’ve seen across other vendors since my recent start in collecting. I picked up an Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle while dropping off my cards for grading and I managed to pull this beauty from that same pack. John, I’ll be back real soon to have this graded too!
